No....My parents that adopoted me were no slouches. My opted dad was a Naval officer and had a very disguished career. My adoped mother was the sister of the (now aunt) who was taking care of me at the time. Her husband was my real dad’s brother. My adoped father was a former Master Mariner and steered me toward the Merchant Marine Academy. He also pushed me to be the best I could be. I was born poor but not without some god given abilities.
