He also just said he would bypass the Secretary of Defense!

Fred desperately needs to get the puffiness out from under his lids. It will help his numbers.

Please correct me if I’m wrong as I’m not certain about this. IIRC, when Mitt first proposed his plan there was an option to not buy insurance, but rather to maintain a certain amount of funds in escrow against the possibility of future health care expenses, proving your ability to self-insure. IIRC, the legislature took that out. I don’t recall whether it was over one of his many vetoes. I do know he tried to remove many mandated coverage items from the minimal approved insurance option only to have them restored over his veto. If I’m right on this than Mitt’s original intent was less problematic, even if he finally accepted less than his ideal.

Did Edwards just say that if only we pulled the troops out, all the violence would stop?

And that is why we must support the nominee when he emerges from the trial by fire.
It is good FR is getting a look at these Dem wackos tonight. It reminds us we must win. Excepting Paul, anyone on our stage tonight was preferable to these surrender monkeys.

Oh, heck yeah...Carl Cameron [fox news] has Huck sitting right there beside him as he analyzes tonight's debate. He is acting like the hillbilly is the greatest thing since sliced bread, all the while he is saying how Mitt took an awful, awful beating tonight and then looking over and letting the hillbilly chime in with more digs against Rommey.
Carl wants Huckabilly to be the GOP's candidate so badly he literally cannot contain himself, he knows Hillary is then a shoo-in.

No can do.
I’m a lightweight.
You, RM are a heavy weight.
Keep babbling...

Did you know that illegals can get health care under one of subsidized plans? They are not exempt from the mandate.

Indeed... we are dealing with children....

On New Mexico's policy of flying the flag at half-staff for its citizens who gave the ultimate sacrifice for something many of them believe in and for their country, Richardson states, "I am sick and tired of doing it..."
Then resign a**hole.

I’ve thought of the Mitt/Fred ticket. It has real possibilities, positive possiblilties. Fred would be the ideal laid back VP with all the gravitas necessary, the experienced advisor ala Cheney. Mitt is the attractive, coherent spokesman the Republican party needs today, the coherent spokesman that Bush was never quite able to be. His ‘Bushisms’ kept getting in the way.
The Mitt/Fred ticket. I like it.
