Charles Gibson will moderate the Republican and Democrat debates tonight in New Hampshire, beginning at 7 PM Eastern.
Have at it..
Man this thread is slow...........not gonna be a new one?
So, here we go......the Dims talk tough on terror. Bwwah.
Edwards: nuclear proliferation is a “short term threat”?
And....
Really! Kind of makes you realize that some people only see what they want to see...
Fred did do good tonight...good job.
Good idea. I just 'changed' the channel.
DIPLOMACY
Edwards will eliminate all nuclear weapons worldwide.
And Edwards avoided the Nuke question about Pak.
Excellent choice, Sir.
Change. Okay, but chug a mug every time the Beast cackles.
>What’s the drink word for this one?
diplomacy
this administration
middle class
...pick one.
Not a lamp or ashtray with reach or sight I hope!
True - but he has an authoritative tone - think of the average voter and not political junkies.
Hey John? How do we know A Q Khan spread nukes?
Oh thats right, the current administration exposed him.
My analysis: McCain: My minds not as sharp as it used to be. Thompson: I'm a conservative. Paul: I'm a nut. Huckabee: I've stumbled upon this neat "change" motif. Guiliani: I love to debate. Romney: I love mandates. |
Richardson “Diplomacy first!” zzzzzzzzzzzz
“Has Charlie included Fred at all?”
Fred spoke several times. He was thoughtful (though I agree at times he pauses for a few seconds, which I don’t care about but many do) and genuine, and he got right to the important principles of conservatism. He was relaxed and took control of the debate each time he spoke.
Fred was the best by a long shot.
This debate is missing its village idiot, I miss Kucinich.
Romney and Rudy performed the worst in the debate tonight. Huckabee seemed to only have nice things to say about Obama. His “vertical” politician talking point is going to be his undoing. He is a nice guy who just isn’t the right guy. Mitt is going to suffer after his lack of performance tonight.
I figure both McCain, Fred, and Paul should see a boost. Any boost in NH would be good for Fred since he isn’t planning any major campaigning there. Huckabee didn’t seem to take any damage other than I think his message is really getting old.
Mitt is going to be in deep trouble. He just was horrible.
