“I believe Wyoming is at least half Mormon.”

Wyoming - 10.1% Mormon.

http://www.adherents.com/largecom/com_lds.html

That’s quite a ways from half.

Wyoming is about 9.5% LDS, according to this source:

Hope Fred Thompson does well and Duncan Hunter too. I wonder if there are any Wyoming Freepers on FR this evening who will post about the favorites in their area. I think Wyoming has a regular primary where every registered voter goes to their precinct to vote. Hope I am right. Anyone know when the polls close since they vote on a Saturday?
I think voting on a Saturday is a great idea as it makes it much easier for folks to get to their precinct to vote.

At least some are predicting a Thompson/Romney or Romney/Thompson ticket will face the Democrats.

Now that was creative editing. It isn't Cheney supporting Thompson, it is "Mary Matalin, a former counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney", who is supporting Thompson, the former U.S. senator from Tennessee. The same Mary Matalin who is married to Snakehead Carville.

I certainly want to see Fred win anything, but Wyoming's total population is just north of 300,000 - smaller than most cities. There can't be many delegates at stake and that is, after all, what we're after in these primaries.

Media coverage is just the fringe benefit.

“I believe Wyoming is at least half Mormon.”

It’s actually much less than that, in the teens.

Apparently, there are 14 delegates at stake. NH only has 12.

Is there going to be a live thread for Wyoming? I could invite some political activist to watch the race who many not know it’s happening!

Wyoming has/had 28 delegates but was penalized 1/2 of them by the GOP for having their event prior to Super Tuesday. Twelve of the fourteen will be chosen tomorrow at their county conventions....

There are 23 counties which are paired into 11 groups with one county standing by itself. The 11 paired counties select one delegate and one alternate to the National convention alternating which county selects the Delegate and alternate each cycle. The remaining one county selects both a delegate and alternate.

The county convention participants were selected sometime back by each precinct within each county who send three participants each.... This system smacks of the good ol’ boy back scrathing fest if I’ve ever heard of one. It may not be but sure sounds plausible to me.

The county conventions meet tomorrow at a pre selected and published time. Some start as early as 8 am while I’ve seen some listed at late as 5 pm......
