As much as I love Cheney, I think that the “who si supporting Thompson” belongs with Mary, not Cheney. Oh, if only it were true!
I think I read elsewhere that there were no public polls done.
I wish that were the case, but the article says: “...including Mary Matalin, a former counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney, who is supporting Thompson, the former U.S. senator from Tennessee.”

That sentence is a bit confusing. It is poorly contructed.
Based on the article, it looks like the vast majority of the interest is in Thompson. The only other one is Romney, who I think may have lost a lot of steam from such a stunning defeat yesterday.
Great list. It really shows that Fred Thompson is the strong Reagan conservative in the race.

There is interest in Duncan Hunter there, too. Wyoming is his best chance to date to break out of the 1% doldrums.
I hope so too, but the only way to know who’s leading is to wait until the results come in, since we don’t have the benefit of polling to paint a picture.
