Then after seeing that a candidate is Christian (which would have to be someone other than Thompson), then one can get into the political matters...>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Well lets hope you find your perfect candidate this side of heaven. I have written a request into several campaigns to do some digital manipulation in their paid political advertisements on TV,showing various candidates walking on water, turning water into wine, and conducting immaculate conceptive exercises like Slick Willy.

There no end to this crap once it gets started.

You said — “Well lets hope you find your perfect candidate this side of heaven.”

Well, this is where you betray your ignorance of Christianity, you see.

Having a candidate who is a Christian — is not asking for perfection (this side or the other side of Heaven). A Christian (as you probably have seen from the bumper sticker) is not perfect, but simply forgiven. You see..., the bumper sticker tells the truth, after all.

A person choosing to accept God’s plan of salvation, and admitting that God is right, and that His way of salvation that He offers as a free gift, through His Son, Jesus Christ — is not instantly made perfect. They are “clothed” in the “righteousness of Christ” — in that God “imputes” the righteousness of Christ upon that person. They are “saved” (and not perfect).

So, finding a candidate who is “saved” is not really very difficult. It’s such a simple and easy thing to become saved, because Jesus has done the hard part. You only have to do the easy part, and accept Him as your personal Savior.

What’s so hard about any candidate doing that? No problem at all. All we have to look out for is someone “faking” being a Christian. And with Thompson, it’s obvious he has no idea what the Gospel is or what the “good news” is all about. So, he can’t even choose to be a Christian when he has no concept of what to choose in the first place. He’s a good example of someone trying to fool the public into believing that he’s a Christian.

Now, once you get past that “criteria” — you can apply the very same criteria of politics that you apply to *anyone else* (whether they are a Christian or not).

So, what has changed (in using this methodology that I mentioned, versus another methodology)? Absolutely nothing (for the “rest of it”) — the only different thing is making sure they are a Christian — first.

And *that* is supposed to be a “hard thing”... LOL...
