I thought the time was right to start up a live thread for results and comments about tonight, so here we are!
Obama has a 6 point lead over Hillary. The Queen is not amused
Angry here too, but I’m not surprised at all... The MSM has a clear agenda and it has nothing to do with being actual respectable journalists.
I really have liked and admired Brit so much over the years, but with his attitude on illegal immigration and now this campaign it’s harder for me to listen to him than, well, your run-of-the-mill Dem operative turned ‘respected journalist’ (e.g., Chris M., George S. or Tim R.).
Better than Hillary!
She’s taking a bit hit here. She needs to pull out a decisive win in NH, because she’ll be facing stiff odds in South Carolina.
But as we’ve seen over the years, these early primaries are really more about mood. And each of the candidates will adjust their strategies based on the outcome.
She ain’t dead yet. She still has major support in FL, NY, and CA. But three or four defeats in a row might finally melt her.
“I’m melting!! I’m melting!!!”
We can only hope.
I don't know that Fred even went that far but he may have and I missed it. I've gotten more than a little sick and tired, though, of Romney supporters claiming that Fred said that he had to place second. I didn't really expect that Romneyfor President2008 would be able to come up with any substantion for his claim.
televangalist zombies.
huckabee told them to touch their teevee
Nice numbers.
I see Guiliani with close to 50% of Linn County at:
Iowa Caucus Popup Map
What’s up with that?
It is a major typo.....only about 12000 people will vote in Linn County (my prediction)
Huckabee 37%
Thompson 23%
Romney 20%
McCain 12%
Well, that is just one county - but not good news for the MSM - who hates and fears Fred.
Huckabee is good on abortion, and some of his Christian views have been unfairly attacked.
That having been said, he’s a disaster. He knows nothing about foreign policy and would likely be an appeaser. He’s for open borders coddling of illegal aliens. He’s soft on crime. He’s a big spender. He’s a nanny stater. He’s PC on at least some issues.
Just say no to the Huckster. Thompson and (God bless him) Hunter are the two conservatives in this race.
Huckabee 25,510 34% 65% reporting
Romney 18,668 25%
Thompson 10,308 14%
McCain 9,891 13%
Paul 7,674 10%
Giuliani 2,708 4%
Hunter 324 0%
“McCain is a spoiler”
Yes, so is huckster.
No I’d predict the news will be he had a stroke.
I heard it just now. It's on the Townhall blog. I'll get a link.
