Watching the C-SPAN coverage for Pubbies in Carrol IA. Thompson is getting a very good number of paper ballots in the preference poll.

Tomorrow Iowa will be yesterday’s news.

I have to say that is making me mighty pleased! :) Not that I like either of the other candidates any more than her... But, at least they aren’t all fawning over her.
To: Fox_Mulder77
do people really think like that? Yes. They are the majority. And they all vote.

You are so full of BS... Fred was on Hannity at 4:12 PM today and said he was not going anywhere after Iowa no matter what the vote. When asked if he would endorse McCain if he did quit he answered, “The question is will McCain endorse me". Like I said... just like williard... you are full of BS!

Huckabee affects me exactly the same as Clinton did.
I’ll never forget when Clinton announced his candidacy in 1991. I didn’t know much about him, only that he’d given a disastrous speech at the previous Dem convention. I was walking through the den and saw him on TV announcing his run. My brain IMMEDIATELY said: “That man is lying!”. That was my first and lasting impression of him...a shyster.
The first time I saw Huckabee speak...I had the same spontaneous reaction. I don’t think he’s lying the same way Clinton did...it’s more like Elmer Gantry.

And Hunter isn't even a blip. Too bad - I'm a FRedneck, but Duncan's a good guy. As I understand it, Hunter has put zero effort into Iowa, concentrating elsewhere.
Fred and Hunter are both good guys. (Huck--YUCK!)

You said — “Huck is a rude, condescending man. I for one WILL NEVER under any circumstances vote for him because of his behavior.”
I thought McCain was the crazy one of the bunch... that McManiac... LOL

This is the first time I've seen a Republican result that wasn't mirrored here on these boards. Rush's explanation of "identity politics" goes a long way to explain why he's winning. But it doesn't explain why it doesn't show up on FR. I just don't get it. It think what you are seeing is the divergence between Republicans and conservatives. In 1980 and again in 1994, there was a tremendous overlap. That overlap appears to be shrinking. Congress was our first indicator. Bush was our second. This is our third.

So just when will all the caucus results be in from every precinct? Don’t totals have to be verified? Like counted at least twice??? Weird!

“Fox has been a real piece of work since Fred got in the race. Today was just about the worst.”
Well they may be eating crow then as Fred looks like he may nail down 3rd!
