I just DO NOT GET THE HUCK band wagon

He is the most personable candidate. Personality goes a long way. Issues are secondary to most voters.

Let’s not give the nomination to Huckabee. Hopefully, people will decide that likeability is not enough to beat the DIMS.

ROFL - Fred said there wasn’t a bit of difference between the Democrats and now their results are affirming his statement.

This photo should be on the front page of every newspaper in this country. Sadly, they think like the Clintons.

Huckabee is a one state candidate. And IA is his state.

Does FoxNews have a live streaming video ? I can’t find it on their site.

I doubt they are frantic. Everything is calculated. Nearly three way tie, even with Hillary in a close third...still makes her out to be a “victim.”

DO NOT GET THE HUCK band wagon.... he can NOT be our MAN.

I don't get it either!

I've been wondering for 2 weeks how he can be so far ahead, yet I see mostly contempt for him here on FR. Usually, if a conservative is leading, it's reflected here (whether I agree with them or not).

This is the first time I've seen a Republican result that wasn't mirrored here on these boards. Rush's explanation of "identity politics" goes a long way to explain why he's winning. But it doesn't explain why it doesn't show up on FR. I just don't get it.

Greetings -

Just back from a Caucus in Iowa City. It looks like many precincts were at the local high school and there were Dims all over the place, especially in the nice big rooms while we were stuffed in a little classroom.

Be that as it may, my son, FReeper Skywalk, spoke for Thompson. This was my first Caucus and I was surprised to see people so polite. Every candidate’s rep was applauded, no one was rude, no one talked too long. : )

Final tally: Romney, Huckabee, Ron Paul, Thompson, McCain, Guiliani.

I hope the Ron Paul thing is a fluke for our room and that Thompson does better at other sites.

Senator Barack Obama : 33.08%
Senator John Edwards : 32.16%
Senator Hillary Clinton : 31.86%

Sheesh - and the MSM said the GOP was deadlocked.

“I just don’t understand how they refuse to talk about Fred, other than in the context of the “rumors”.

Go Fred!”

Looks like they will have to looking and reporting the Fred Phenomena now.

If Huckabee doesn’t divide the party, he will depress the turn out, causing the lowest GOP turn out in history. I’ll be one of those sitting out the race if either McCain or Huckabee are nominated.

What is the appeal with Huckabee though?

He reminds people of Bill Clinton.

Wait, why is that a plus, again?
