I’m sorry, but I read this and can’t help but think that now he’s passing bills trying to buy votes.

I’ve gotta ask. Ron Paul wants to eliminate nearly every fenderal agency because they arent enumerated in the constitution (FBI, DHS, DoE, etc). Okay, a principled libertarian viewpoint. But then there’s this. So where in the constitution does he find the authority to subsidize local police forces?

One police officer claims cops in New York and other states are forced to pose with the likes of Senators Hillary Clinton and John McCain. If an officer refuses, he or she is charged with insubordination by their superiors.

what a silly statement based on the musings of a single officer. being forces to stand with a political candidate is not a lawful order and any cop who was forced to do so would have a great lawsuit if they were punished.

NYPD officers are expressly forbidden to show support for a political candidate while in uniform or in any official capacity. another hack job by paul supporters.

I’ve alwasy known Free Republic had no interest in Constituional governance. The Paul candidacy drags that out into the light.
