PLAISTOW, N.H. -- Ron Paul said the decision to exclude him from a debate on Fox News Sunday the weekend before the New Hampshire Primary is proof that the network "is scared" of him.
"They are scared of me and don't want my message to get out, but it will," Paul said in an interview at a diner here. "They are propagandists for this war and I challenge them on the notion that they are conservative."
Paul's staff said they are beginning to plan a rally that will take place at the same time the 90-minute debate will air on television. It will be taped at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown.
"They will not win this skirmish," he promised.
The Fox debate occurs less than 24 hours after two back to back Republican and Democratic debates on the same campus sponsored by ABC News, WMUR-TV and the social networking website Facebook.
Paul, the Republican Texas Congressman, was wrapping up his final day of campaigning in New Hampshire until the Iowa Caucuses on Thursday.
He spent much of the day campaigning at diners in Manchester and Plaistow and downtown walks in Derry and Exeter.

Oh, heck. I’m scared of you!
Scared of what will become of my Country should you somehow manage to ascend to the Presidency.
the more I heard of what he has to say, the more opposed I became to him. I’d let him on and have him answer a question about his views on Lincoln before a live audience of Republicans.
You are just a naturally scary guy. Deal with it.
I would sooner vote for MY favorite Martian:
They both want to destroy Earth, but at least Marvin is honest about it.
To make us all pine for the relative sanity of Ross Perot.
Agree....FOX is no better than CNN when they do such.
Keep Paul if not for the entertainment value alone.
That guy is at 10% now ?
I don’t watch fox news anymore, and this is pretty much why. Rudynews can exclude whoever they want, but they look silly in the process...considering Paul is doing better than Thompson in New Hampshire.
What I love to do is watch here how in one forum topic they are celebrating all of the media attention Paul is getting while in another thread they are complaining he isn't getting media attention.
Reminds me of Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Narcissistic personality disorder symptoms may include:
“That guy is at 10% now ?”
I saw that number in one poll somewhere within the past week.
But maybe the sample was the residents of a correctional facility!
Funny. He seems housebroken to me...
For someone who never served a day in combat, Paul sure loves to use military metaphors.
Nationally, 4% with a 5%-6% margin of error.
Heck, Dr. Paul, I’m scared of you. Begone!
Fox News isn’t frightened or scared of you Dr. Paul, it’s just that you stomach churning, projectile vomiting, disgust them to include the lefties on Fox News.
Whether we agree with them or not, they are Republicans running for president. Some would argue that only their favorite 2 candidates should debate to limit the field. I think a healthy robust debate inside of our party is what will give us the strongest nominee against the RATS.
Fox News Sunday’s guest this critical weekend before the IA caucuses is Fred Thompson, not Rudy Giuliani.
If Paul says Fox isn’t conservative, that’s fair. Maybe he could tell his pals on the left who think Fox is more rightwing than any Republican. It’s equally fair to say Paul is not a Republican. He should not be in either the debate or the Republican primary.
Ron Paul, an elderly con Libertarian with Elmer Fudd features, a feminine lisp that called Ronald Reagan a dramatic failure and thinks he is smarter than Abe Lincoln is accusing Fox News of being fraidy cats of the big bad Paul con Revolution? Paul reminds me once again, why he is a joke. A bad joke.
