Anchorage weather dudes have issues too....we are bordered on the east by mountains, and on the west by water. Maybe you’ll have puddles tomorrow.
I’m headed for bed now....no alarm! Hurrah!!

This fire fighter and his family are wishing our soldiers and everyone in the Canteen a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
We count our blessings bestowed upon us by our Savior, and we honor our soldiers who protect our country and preserve our freedom to worship.
God Bless and Keep You

Alpha...here's some aircraft-related stuff for you
from me for once.
I was able to load a couple of pics into Fotki before our connection became crazy slow. Heres the first of the pictures of the helicopters being loaded
This is the ride the helos took to go to their weight reduction camp. The Antonov 124-100. A fairly large bird, to say the least. Although too dark to see, there are already 2 Mi-17 helicopters and a main rotor blade box containing 10 blades inside.
Presidential Helicopter Number 001 is loaded first into the An-124.
I wish I could load more, but these took several tries with the time out becoming more and more frustrating. Eventually!!
