Desperate to take support from wherever he can get it.

Some - well more like all of two readers have gotten a little cross-eyed over the fact that I dared to imply that George Soros/MoveOn forces were working covertly to assist the most Soros-like candidate on the GOP ticket.

The truth is some of the support has been covert, some of it rather obvious...

For instance one MoveOn group assisted in the funding and production of this television ad:

“Back in the Eighties, twenty years ago. And some of it came from American sources. Remember BCCI and the S&L scandal where it was revealed that we were funding Saddam’s war machine against Iran which was also used against the Kurds, probably as test subjects and because they had rebel elements against Saddam’s regime?”

I have no problem with funding any one’s war machine that wishes to do battle with the mad-mullahs of Iran.

“So they can supply their domestic electricity and export all that high-dollar oil? Last I heard, Iranians like money like everyone else.”

BS! Any number of countries have offered Iran enriched uranium for the nuclear reactors as long as Iran allows those countries to remove the fuel rods from Iran.
If all Iran wanted to do was make money, they could swap oil for nuclear fuel and save the expense of setting up their own reprocessing capabilities. Now, why would Iran want to keep the old fuel rods contaiminated with all that plutonium?

“Perhaps not, but we’ve entered many countries without regard for either their culture or the consequences. “

Examples?

Ummmmm....look at some of the other threads on here just today alone!

torture camp found in Iraq...Iranian cleric calls for women not wearing burkha to be killed...

Say if Ru Paul is president, and your neighbor was stomping your guts out, how would you respond if the police were withheld because it “wasn’t their business”?

The bastards who attacked us could care less about our freedom. They wanted to preserve their own slavery and get us the hell out of their own hell hole. They’re essentially finished.

There are reasonable people in those countries who are more than willing to do business with us. We do not have to set up democracies and introduce Hollywood to their way of life in order to conduct affairs with them.

Your ignorance and unwillingness to discusses possible causes for their attacks does not make me an expert on foreign policy. It just reveals you as one who is afraid to ask hard questions regarding our conduct as a nation among others who are less blessed than we.

For crying out loud. Did you even bother to read the statements from Bin Laden declaring precisely why he deems himself our enemy? If so, you must be like those judges of who discover an emanation of a penumbra in the Constitution guaranteeing the right for a mother to kill her unborn child.

These people are decidedly not our enemies just because we are a free people. They are our enemies because people like you, out of ignorance, want to step into their world and stomp on their way of life because you know so much better than they what is right for them. No better, really, than a huge government of liberal nannies who want to run other people's lives from birth till death.

“No BS on his part”.

???????????????????????????????????

He says all these things about 9-11 conspiracies and at the very end says he doesn’t believe there was a conspiracy...

He says Huckabee was “subtly” implying he was the only Christian...

and that his ad reminded him of Sinclair Lewis saying fascism will come to this country wrapped in a flag carrying a cross...and oh yeah...

maybe MAYBE that doesn’t apply in this particular case though.

Ummmmm the (Ru Pauly) “distortions” have been “ugly” all along !!!!!

Now who does Ron Paul remind me of...oh yeah: the HYPOCRATS!

And of course Iran's leaders won't take it the wrong way when we wage war against them by proxy.

And they are getting their fuel from Russia under IAEA control. President Bush accepted it and even had to offer faint praise for it. And Iran is building a second nuclear plant, again undermining the nukes program since they would have needed only one plant for that. But apparently you know so much more about it than our president and national security establishment that I can't argue with you. </sarcasm>

. . . taking scorn from a Paultard is a badge of honor.

There is no such thing as a badge of honor for a person who, in a public forum, misrepresents and maligns an honorable man. Besides, such badges are unbecoming when attached to one who has the attitude and reasoning capacity of an eight-year-old.

>>>>LOL...yeah that’s it. I’m sure some of them like money, actually most.

Too bad the ones in control are calling for females that don’t wear burkhas to be killed.

The world didn’t confront Hitler early enough and we almost lost that war, but eventually we won out with over 30 million dead.

But so long as these mullas have electricity and impose their terror on their females, (as well as the rest of the world) it’s all good!

I’m sorry. My briefing with Ron Paul on this matter is still pending. As soon as I know his exact plans I’ll post them here for you to read. Just keep it a secret, okay?

besides, it worked in Spain and France!

Oh wait...no it didn’t. Parts of Paris are being burned to the ground.

Oh well, so much for THAT argument!

Other than laziness and the expectation for your government to defend someone who is not a citizen, what’s to prevent you from going over there and taking care of business yourself?

ummmmm....Huckabee created a great ad...then Ru Paul said he was implying he was the only Christian candidate.

But hey, don’t let that bother you.

I would suggest watching the video clip again or reading the transcripts. Also he addresses the same issue on the WHO station with Jan Mikelson.

Huckabee has done a great job letting everyone know he is the Christian in the race. Didn’t he say he had a theology degree, but he really doesn’t. For a man of the cloth, well... Now that is MY cheap shot at Huckabee, but I never liked the guy. He’s Clinton but in a bigger suit.

Reminds me of how we defended Bush in 00 and 04 from the misquotes.
Will try to pick up a copy of It Can’t Happen Here this week.

Actually, I’m processing back into the Air Force. I already did 10 years, desert storm vet. I was a medic, became a nurse with the GI Bill, and they need nurses.

Fat, drunk and stupid AND PROJECTING is no way to go through life son.

You’re not familiar with these are you:

In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up.”

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”-—Edmund Burke.

This is no longer the 19th century when we could line up and shoot muskets at our enemies. People locked into 7th century mentalities have access to 21st century tools.
