I am so OVER these whining scumbags!!! Let’s talk about about the sack and rape of Constantinople, let’s talk about nearly 14 centuries of Muslim conquests, thuggery, savagery, and depravity..... they want to whine about a symbol on a SOCCER UNIFORM?? Hey, jackals, when all Muslims clear out of Constantinople and all of their other conquests, then we might at least listen to your complaints.........

‘a red cross on a white background’

Isn’t this also the flag of England?

The symbol is tied closely to the Crusades in the Middle Ages, when the Christian powers of Europe tried to recapture the Holy Land from the Muslims, with constant and ferocious military expeditions. Kaska said that the symbol is considered offensive in Islamic culture and asked the Turkish tribunal to sanction Inter Milan for their 'racist' action.

He has asked UEFA, which organises the Champions League tournament, to cancel the three points earned by Inter Milan after its victory over Fenerbahçe.

In an interview with Spain's daily La Vanguardia, Kaska said that "the cross reminded me of the bloody days of the past."

This one of the things that is great about America.

Yankees reliever Joba Chamberlain, a native American, gave up a key run in Game Three of the American League Divisional Series to the Cleveland Indians, leading to the loss of that game and the Yankees' eventual loss of the Series. Chamberlain didn't pout and whine that the grinning red man on the Indians' helmets caused him some horrible trauma, leading him to throw wildly.

(Of course, it probably had more to do with the gnats that descended on the field that warm October night).

Funny, the different things that “offend” people. Personally, I get “offended” when Christian children and their parents are terrified and killed in promotion of a “religion.” I find it “offensive” when a member of one religion saws the head off a living member of another. I consider it “offensive” when a member of one religion commits suicide, deciding that members of other religions should die with him or her. I especially find it “offensive” when the vast majority of one “religion” either condones, supports or ignores these atrocities committed by their fellow believers, whilst whining about emblems, cartoons and other imagined “offenses.”

Well, the crescent reminds me of the bloody days when the Turks nearly overrun the Mediterranean world.

The Cross appears on many flags of Europe, just as the Cresent Moon and Star appears on many flags of Islamic countries. To object to one and not to the other is discriminatory.

I am diappointed in Turkey, given its history of religious tolerance. But, it may be that where the Turks were once ahead in the game, allowing those of other religions to be tolerated as second class citizens within their empire (as opposed to being persecuted), they have now fallen behind (not embracing equal rights for all).

The Turks are still ahead of the Islamo-fascists, and I suspect that they will soon get with the program both with regard to this matter and in other ways.

That might do wonders to Turkey’s desperate need to join the EU.

Europeans should try to imagine how many things would be protested from the new “member” from dress code to consuming liquor, etc.
