God bless you Jeanne!
Those of you talking about her being hot, in calendars, etc. - SHUT UP!!!
She is a Christian lady who deserves a lot more respect than this.
LOL!
I had to get mine cut when it was mid back because I kept going to the stylist and she’d say—
“What’s this white stuff in your hair?”
“Paint.”
“And this brown rock?”
“Grout.”
“And this beige gunk?”
“hmmmm, I think that’s wood putty.”
“OK, that does it! It has to come off!”
-perhaps because the Holy Spirit was guiding their decisions....to save them from destruction? This ONE instance where more tragedy was averted is the very thing many on this forum have wished to happen to prove the need for an armed citizenry........perhaps our Creator is still guiding our nation.
It is a pleasant change from the many threads of despair when we all speculated on what would happen IF someone had a gun to protect themselves with. THIS shooting is a real mile marker in the landscape of the sickos with guns killing our children and loved ones trapped in gunfree zones.
Smoochers hunny bunny :)
Brains, beauty, bravery, piety and excellent gun control.
But can she cook?
(Flame suit most definitely ON!)
I’m not trying to “paint you as something you’re not.” I said specifically that surely that was not your intent.
I honestly don’t understand large and even many “old” women having short hair - for beauty, that is (everyone likes the relative ease of short hair). I think large women definitely benefit from long hair. The short cropped seems to emphasize the heaviness of the large face. JMO, generally. (Hope I’m not stepping on anyone’s toes here!) Anyway....
My Mom used to keep my hair cut very short when I was a child....she was busy with 4 kids, so it made sense to her, plus long hair from her POV meant the parents didn’t care enough to take the kid to get their hair cut.
So I always associated short hair with loss of rights and desires.
ANYHOW, the worst haircut I ever had was what I call the “Punishment Cut” for short, old fat women....ya know,
real short on the sides and poofy on top. It’s a standard around these parts. And yes, there are women who do look good in it....
But to me, it screams someone who thinks they’ve lost their right to wear their hair long or in any other feminine, pretty style.
And I agree, it makes a fat face only look rounder and fatter. I called myself Pumpkin Head when I had that cut and saw pictures from that time.
I owe them nothing. Their very chief of police lobbied the legislature like mad to disarm every single person in that building, and the politicians obliged, as you well know. They all have the blood of those children on their hands.
Not at my congregation. It is outside the city limits and most parishioners are hunters and also are concealed carry licensed.
I think that Boyd was simply saying that “she acted as his personal bodyguard” during that incident, not that she in fact *was* his personal bodyguard as her profession.
Seriously, I’m not trying to nitpick. From the context, it sounds like she *may* just have been, to use Boyd’s term “acting” as his bodyguard during that incident, and is therefore a “hero,” not that she was on the church payroll as his personal bodyguard.
She is described as a “volunteer church security guard” — that doesn’t sound like someone on staff as a “personal bodyguard,” frankly.
It’s a minor point, but I’d rather have the truth rather than conjecture.
Doesn't matter. If she says so, you'll be doing the cooking. =]
There, now see? If there was a sensible guy in your life who liked long hair, you wouldn't have this problem, at least not if you didn't want it. =] But of course I guess you're aware of that.
well bless ya for it ;)
Absolutely, some people look great. But I think most rounder women don’t look good with the short cut. It’s hard to describe sometimes - it can vary with the exact style.
That is standard issue about everywhere, as I can tell. Seems few venture into long hair when they’re heavy and/or “old”. Somebody must’ve told them it makes them slim down or younger (maybe “Peter Pan”?) and that’s become common wisdom.
I’ve actually had people say “It’s time she got her hair cut.” Not because her current hair wasn’t pretty, but because, well.... time for her to be punished for getting older, heavier and being born short ;)
She looks to be a bit Lebonese. Who knows about marital status...but she’s one bad momma with a pistol. :)
Al Gore gets the Nobel Peace Prize while this woman did more for the cause of peace in a few minutes than Al Gore has done in his entire life.
Look,
my ideal man can fix stuff I can’t and earns enough to pay the electric bill and half the mortgage.
And leaves my stuff alone.
Oh, and will call 911 if I fall off the roof.
