I just read an article that was recently posted, and it seems like he might have targeted that particular van, not that he didn’t intend on killing more though.
The two girls killed in that van were involved with YWAM and had recently been on a YWAM trip to China, and frequented the Arvada training center. So it doesn’t seem they would be random targets, imho.
That was my thinking as well. The fact that those killed were mostly younger people, and not random parishoners/staffers in both incidents would lead one to speculate that the shooter had a grudge of some sort against these young people.
