COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.

Remember , this is how he perceived things. It doesn’t necessarily mean it was happening.
I can almost guarantee that reality has a very small resemblance to anything this guy wrote.
In the other stories, there are basically two main actors - the Murderer and the Victims, plus a third minor "supporting role" in the form of the law enforcement officers who typically arrive after it's mostly over.
But this story is very different, because there is an additional role you almost never see - the Hero (or Heroine).
This puts a majorly different spin on the story. Usually you get only the single solid wave of negative emotions sweeping away everything in its path. But this time around, you end up with both the negative, gloomy, despairing wave riding the story of the victims and The Crazed One, plus you get the positive, hopeful wave riding the story of the brave heroine who could have just hunkered down and saved her own skin, but instead chose to ask for and trust in God's strength and protection, and risked her life in what looked to all the other immobile armed security guards like a surefire suicide mission.
So instead of the standard relentlessly gloomy story of the Loner's bloodsoaked, Blaze of Glory exit from the world, we get two parallel stories, one which gives us hope and joy and pride in an awesome display of what is best in the human character, a story that counteracts the Doom and Gloom of the other story.
Maybe I'm being overly optimistic here, but I can't help but wonder if this hugely positive story that keeps popping its head up over, and dominating the negative story that the perp envisioned as being his swan song, might act to discourage other like minded perp-wannabe's who will think twice about doing something similar that could horrifyingly (for them) turn out to be a Story With A Happy Ending. Believe me, they do NOT want a Happy Ending to the story of their deaths! They do not want to throw away their lives in some "Hero Is Born" scenario whereby after a little time has passed, the only name people remember from the story is the name of the Hero who Saved The Day.
What do you guys think?

He did not understand why Mike Gallagher the radio host, did not understand it was wrong to have shot the killer.
Mike held himself in control as long as he could, as the man explained that they weighed about 1/4 pound and had one in each pocket.
And it sounded like a man of 60 or 70 years of age, could he really have lived so long and still put his faith in rocks?
He said he started carrying them when his children were born, to protect them.

My fear is that it is all a game with them, the end result they seek, is to be known for shooting/killing the highest number of people.

Moonbats pop up occasionally but thankfully we have observers, the mods are underpaid and we do get trolls here but otherwise I like it here, it feels like a home.
I haven't read all that's been posted here since I went offline last but, however, where does he indicate that he ever went to this church while Haggard was its pastor?
All I saw/read (so far) was his problem with YWAM, which is not something that Haggard created....it is a separate entity, a Christian organization to which many Christian churches, of various denominations send their youth.
All I have to say about your posts for now are, incredible.
This guy surely had major problems. I am surprised that no one did enough to help him.....it would seem he must have been sending out some red flags....

I don't wish to seem cavalier about this because I know there are good people with genuine beliefs on the subject..
BUT..
If God is active and at work in everything, everywhere, then based on His results that would be a very scary thought.
God is certainly interested in the Big Picture but I don't see Him dealing in too many details.
The question would be: In the great scheme of things, is this project called Man on Earth a Big Picture item or just one of His many small details?
