I saw that show...poor Joy was struggling to show any kind of consistency in her reasoning.
Ron Paul was the guest. He made the point that if he, as a medical professional, harmed a fetus, he could be sued. His point being that there are situations when the fetus is seen as having certain rights or protections under the law.
He went on to say that if that same baby were killed by the mother, it is somehow seen as her right? How can that be?

Joy struggled with that, and it was the first time I’ve seen her unable to come right back with some sort of snarky remark.

Oh there you go again, being logical in your statements. Don’t expect logic to ever to emanate from the luscious lips of the girls on the view (nor their pro-feminist supporters.)

When they say “not a child until it is born”, what happens when it is prematurely delivered? How to you know when THAT becomes a baby?

I hear that a fetus isn’t a baby because it can’t live on its own. Is a “premie” still just a fetus?

Is a 9month-6 week old still a fetus because it can’t seek out a food source and shelter on its own?

CPS will take your children away from you if you abuse them. The kids aren't executed just because the mother can't care for them.

And if it is harmful for a teen to have a kid just think what taking hormones to supress ovulation do to a teen undergoing puberty. Right at a change of life, life is being thwarted. These are physical changes that are supposed to last you the rest of your life.

I consider Ron Paul to be a bit of a nut, but he was very articulate and to the point on this issue, and it made me smile when I saw how uncomfortable the View hags were when faced with the facts.

Kudos to Mr. Paul for putting these pro-abortion witches in their place.
