About $300 million was spent on fancy new voting machines, and maybe they couldn’t be hacked. Hugo may have thought he would win easily, and didn’t need to cheat.
Oh hell, it’s worth hoping for...
Things are going to get very interesting, I can feel it.

Don’t be silly, he is not going to lose.
Don’t you know that “it’s not who votes, it’s who COUNTS the votes” — or something like that. One of Stalin’s pearls of wisdom.
Chavez is a dictator, surely he isn’t going to let something like a few votes stop him, just wait until the official count comes out, after they find a few thousand “misplaced” votes.
Heck, if the Dems nearly did it to us here, what do you think Chavez is going to do, when he has full control?

Holy crap, I had no idea it could happen. Look for a lot of violence this week - Chavez will not take kindly to this.

The problem is that now the opposition is not being allowed into the room where the official tally is being tabulated.
It's like Miami-Dade all over again.

If he loses, Cindy Sheehag will throw herself in front of a train like Tolstoy's Anna Karenina.

I predict he does not follow through on the oil cutoff.
The big question is, will he take the defeat, or overturn it?

Satan was sitting in the voter booths...right there in the voter booths. Chavez could smell him there.
