I would like to know if you are going to vote in the November 2008 election even if your candidate does not win. Will you stay home if you don't like the Republican candidate?
Another thing that I have often wondered about is whether people actually stay home when they are disheartened. News commentators often say that some voters may have decided to stay home because they were not happy with the candidates. I think that is a mistake because even if you do not like the person at the top of the ticket you should at least vote for the other candidates. Have you every actually stayed home and not gone to the polls at all because you were not happy with a candidate?
Wouldn't even have to do that here in Illinois, just walk in, tell them you want a stinking rat ballot or a Republican one.
Didn’t France wait 70 years or even longer for Sarkozy?
And even then, his domestic policies are not quite so close to fiscal conservatives.
We appreciate him in France because he is a change.
Is this the risk the country is willing to take with the Clinton sequel?
You bet!
Somehow I don't think bringing your chess board and pieces to watch Rome burn is the best of the known strategies.
I actually believe that fighting and dieing for your country is much more Noble than playing a game.
In this point in history we have a duty to perform, not a game to play.
I will vote no matter who it is.
Hmm. That's odd, cuz here in my handy dandy Evangelical Protestant's Voting Guide Book it says:
Matthew 16:26 (KJV) For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
;)
Thinking is bad, comrade. Let the glorious PARTY think for you. Repeat after me - There is nothing to fear but Hillary herself. The Republic is fragile and it will fall if you selfishly allow your moral conscious to dictate your vote. Now, put on your boots and march lockstep to the voting booth and cast your vote for the PARTY. /sarcasm
(I shouldn't have to add a sarcasm tag, but someone is sure to miss it if I don't.)
I’ve tried to take a few days off, but have to catch up on so much because of it.
I agree with you, Duncan Hunter is there when needed, he is gracious and we can rely on him. I usually spend 8-10 hours a day propounding Duncan Hunter’s many fine points.
Something tells me it is time to ring my bell again and ask for conservatives to open their check books, and write a generous one to Hunter for President, and send it to:
Go Hunter 08
9340 Fuerte Dr., Suite 302
La Mesa, CA 91941
Before he can be there for us, WE MUST BE THERE FOR HIM!
Thank you! :)
That’s all that needs to be said. I am tired of the sanctimony of the one's who will allow Hillary to win.
I’ll vote Republican, most likely while holding my nose. We won’t survive four years of Hillary.
I don't picture that changing.
Thank you.
yuhp no matter who.
True words, every one. I wonder how long the next Conservative Party will last?
Well not everyone uses the King James version, in case you didn’t notice. And I’m not quite sure what the quote has to do with “losing your soul” if you vote for someone like Rudy to stop someone like Hillary. Lesser of two evils or greater of two evils? Take your pick.
No, but a ballot initiative for a proportional allocation of the state's electoral votes has been proposed, although it's future is uncertain.
I won't stay home. I'll vote for the candidate that I feel will best do the job. Regardless of party. I am a conservative with libertarian roots. I'm not a Republican, nor a DemocRAT. If the Republican candidate isn't conservative, he doesn't get my vote.
I will vote Republican. It is binary. It is irrelevant to not vote/ I’ve already done that, in my stupider days.
