In another sign of Rep. Ron Paul's online fundraising prowess, the Republican presidential candidate from Texas said in a TV interview Friday that he has raised more than $9 million during the past two months and expects to raise a total of at least $12 million for the fourth quarter.
Paul, speaking on Bloomberg Television's "Political Capital with Al Hunt," said he considers his recent fundraising success "astounding."
He added that his campaign plans another "special" fundraising day Dec. 16. On Nov. 5, Paul supporters raised $4.3 million, one of the biggest single-day showings of any candidate in history.

Think about it. If the leftist loons that everyone says make up Ron Pauls base of support ever found that out, half of his supporters would all run screaming in horror.

Yes, and this bothers me. Anyone who reads the Dec. of Ind. and the Constitution honestly must acknowledge the fundamental principles that life comes from God, and no government has the right to deprive any innocent person of his right to life.
Yet, Ron Paul claims he is prolife, although it was not on the literature I received, and claims he looks at issues constitutionally,and yet he voted against the fetal protection bill.
It does not add up.
I agree. They need to examine, and post, his inconsistencies.
I guess what I am saying is if all of his supporters are leftist baby killers, then go on these forums and tell his supporters how much you love Ron Paul for being pro life.
Try reverse psychology. As far as his discussion here is concerned, it’s pretty sad when the Congresscritter who has the highest rating by the NTU gets called a loon and insane.

The difference is that Ron Paul never claimed to be a combat veteran, or allowed others to claim combat soldier status for him (actually, combat airman, as he was Air Force).
Duncan Hunter has some things to explain...just for the purpose of clarity. The Rats would be asking the same questions had he a chance at the nomination. May as well get them out of the way now. You don't need the John Kerry factor in the Republican Party.

The "Disruptor" you refer to is a guy that used to post here named SneakyPete. He's over at LibertyPost now. i don't post there, so i haven't talked to him in a while.
SneakyPete is a retired Special Operations Soldier who ran ops into ICTZ, and Laos. He was part of a Hatchet company in SOG, an instructor for the Special Forces, and a guy who has been around the block a couple of dozen times. You better think real hard before you call him a disruptor, cause there are a few combat vets here who would be willing to b!tc# slap sense into you over stupid comments such as that...i'm happy to allow you to make an @$$ out of yourself, it's a free country...for the moment.

Incidentally, i don't have to prove my manhood. i served my time, and were it not for the fact that i'm TOO DAMNED OLD, i'd have gone back. i tried to return after 9/11, but was TOO DAMNED OLD then as well. My boy will be going with his brigade of the 101st Airborne in January. The fifth generation of my family. Hopefully he does better than the members of my family who returned in boxes. So you can take that setiment and stuff it some place where you can keep it safe for the next person you want to impress with your bluster. It don't impress me one bit.
My guy never made claims to be a combat airman (he was Air Force), Neither have any of his "friends" made any such claims about him.. i did once, but was in error, i've never met the man, so i hardly count as a friend. It is still unclear as to whether Paul was ever in Vietnam at all. i don't think that anybody has ever asked him that question. The fact remains, that Paul never claimed to have served in combat, and neither have his friends made such a claim. It would be a pretty asanine thing for Paul to do in light of his Air Force flight surgeon status.
As for shame, i have nothing to be ashamed of. i raise the question, YOU provide the answer...if you can. Hunter needs to provide his own proof. All he simply has to do is sign the 180 Form that John Kerry still refuses to sign. Hunter can clear this up once and for all.
Incidentally, we're speaking of Duncan Hunter Sr. Duncan Hunter Jr., who is running for his father's seat, has a record beyond question that is heavily documented.
Now, where the hell did you get the idea that the military ever drafted Medical Doctors? Do you even HAVE military experience? Sure doesn't sound as if you do.

The question should be what is he going to do with all that money? He will not win any primary. People give him all this money for what? 3rd party he said no. Give it to other canidates he said he will not support. People are throwing money down a rathole. I do not see other canidates picking up his positions.
besides a simpering statement by a Paul campaign spokesman, his campaign and Paul himself have done absolutely nothing to disassociate themselves from the KKK and Stormfront, to name two anti-Semitic organizations supporting him.
In fact, Paul himself, has said exactly nothing.
By his congressional votes, he has made his position on Israel abundantly clear, too.
The link is clear evidence of their support. But it's "pathetic" in your view, which in and of itself, speaks volumes.
The simple fact is that Paul tacitly encourages their support by saying, and doing, nothing. He does the same thing with the 9/11 Truthers.
His vote, referred to in Post #79, additionally speaks volumes. That vote may mean nothing to you, it speaks volumes to me.

These are some of the “ordinary Americans” supporting Ron Paul. Why? And why is his campaign issuing what can only be described as embarrassingly lame responses to the support of avoid racists such as these “ordinary Americans”?
On You Tube, you may view a video in which Ron Paul is endorsed by Hutton Gibson, a leading Holocaust denier and father of controversial actor and director Mel Gibson.
And of course Paul is supported by another “ordinary American”, none other than Patrick J Buchanan...
These are serious questions that don’t seem to elicit a serious response either from you, or from Paul’s campaign.
Ugh. Next time a Libertarian talks about opposing decency in broadcasting, show them the Sarah Silverman show. Tape their eyes open and make them watch all the episodes.
Then change the channel to sci-fi, make them watch the blood and gore sabertooth squirl movies without a plot.
