You know the answer to that question. You don’t need to ask me. Albeit rhetorically.

Think about it. If the leftist loons that everyone says make up Ron Pauls base of support ever found that out, half of his supporters would all run screaming in horror.

If the other half ever found out that he won’t give them other people’s money from the public treasury for whatever do gooder social engineering experiment or greater good the rest of them would run for the hills.

Paul haters are going about this the wrong way by bashing limited government adherents on FR, IMHO.

The fact of the matter is that Paul didn't run and hide when he was drafted. He choose to be a flight surgeon as the position was in scarcity at the time. He was on dozens of flight missions alleviating pilots from their ailments.

Paul also served in the Air National Guard, you know, the same branch that FReeper hypocrites defended Bush's service in 2004 but have no problem criticizing Paul for serving in.
