I hope Brian De Palma lives the rest of his days looking over his soldier for some Marine to come up and teach him some lessons about life.

Medved has absolute credibility imo. He is honest, comforting and down to earth in everything he says. Good for him - his eloquence is an often overlooked boon for our side.

Thjat was my take on Medved’s review as well. He sure doesn’t seem to have much tolerance for anti-American propoganda, does he?

“Hey honey, it’s been a tough week. Let’s go out to see ‘Love in the Time of Cholera’ so we can unwind a little.”
Sound like something you’d say to your significant other?
I’ll probably see this when it comes to cable, but wow, did they really think this was going to be a big draw?
I guess some stories shoud be told no matter the profit margine.
I thought Redacted was released this weekend. It didn’t show in the top ten. Did it show that poorly, or will it be released later?

Haven’t seen it...but I can’t wait to line up around the block behind nobody to not see this film and then not buy the DVD! DePalmjob - way to revive your career. The ‘’Rush’’ thing was soooo subtly BRILLIANT!!!

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN is the best movie I have seen in years. Highly recommended to everyone... no politics, just a meditation on growing old in a changing and violent world.
To: DoughtyOne
It showed this weekend and maybe last weekend, it performed terribly and the studio lost money on this dog with fleas..
Ahh, but a mere boycott of one film won’t do the trick, the Studio will then release “Wonder Ant and his Family” that the kiddies will go to watch, and the Ant will gross tens of millions and make up for this loser of film.
If there is to be a boycott, it must be the entire studio’s line of films, not just one movie.
