NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN is the best movie I have seen in years. Highly recommended to everyone... no politics, just a meditation on growing old in a changing and violent world.

Thanks for the mention. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN is the best movie I have seen in years.

Another movie that just came out of DVD but for some reason never made it to the big screen (but its obvious why) is called "JOURNEY FROM THE FALL"......

Its low budget and was produced by a Vietnamese gentleman from Californicate...........and details the trials and tribulations of a Vietnamese family after the fall of Saigon, similar to "The Killing Fields".......

It's available now on Amazon.com.......

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN

Loved the book, was psyched when I heard the Coen Brothers were doing the movie with relative unknowns.

Can't wait.

I read the novel “No Country For Old Men.” I thought it was terrific, but the ending was a total downer. Same in the flick?
