We couldn't believe this despicable story when we first heard it and neither could the folks at television station WFXT in Boston, MA.
Local Boy Scouts in Boston were collecting care package items to send to the troops during this holiday season - that is until city officials stepped in, called law enforcement and shut down their care package collections for the troops.
The mean, cold-hearted woman who shut down the Boy Scouts efforts is a city official named Marsha Weinerman of Boston, Massachusetts who was appointed to her post July 1, 2006.
You can contact Ms. Weinerman at this email address:
mWeinerman@cambridgema.gov
Or call her at:

Here are the media stories about Ms. Weinerman's atrocious conduct:

And you can show up Ms. Weinerman and those opposed to our troops by sponsoring a Christmas/holiday care package for our troops - and we'll be more than happy to send it over to Iraq and Afghanistan with love and appreciation:

I'll bet she's sipping a drink with a smug smile on her face.
Life Long Scouter
I sent the troop a donation today and a letter of encouragement. I have been to Cambridge many times for business, and well it is freaky. I’ll just stop there.
My email, FWIWMadam,
It is my understanding that the current Liberal lie is that people like you support the troops but oppose their mission.
That position would imply that supporting the troops is not a political position. The mission might be political, but not helping the men and women who have volunteered to put themselves in harms way in defense of the same rule of law which protects you from the spanking you deserve.
Therefore, interfering with young scouts who are supporting the troops is not only in contradiction to the lie the liberals tell about themselves but also in contradiction to the law used as an excuse for the interference. Liberals themselves would say they were doing nothing political. They were only supporting the troops.
But, of course, Im wasting my time. Liberals have no use for either truth or reason. Theyre all about their feelings. Thats why theyre all over a manufactured right to kill children while they shrink in moral horror from the idea of capital punishment or self-defense.
It must be fun being a city official. People are probably too afraid to tell you what they think of you.
Have a lovely day,

I hope you like spam you f$%king fascist c#$t.
The problem here is that the Scouts weren’t donating to the local mosque. If they donated to the mosque, there would be no problem. /s
Tagged for action from home.
I’m shocked! Shocked that Cambridge HAS any Boy Scouts. Figured the libs would have banned them by now for being homophobes.
Debate question that should be asked, but won’t: Mrs. Clinton, do you support the actions of liberal democrat Weinerman? No, it’s not your husband.
I sent her this...
Well done, you miserable, cold hearted, piece of work.
By claiming that if you support the troops you must support the war you inadvertently gave credence to the corollary - that if you are AGAINST the war you are consequently AGAINST THE TROOPS.
We always suspected that. Now we know for sure.
The Democrats are AGAINST THE TROOPS, you just clarified it.
We will make sure the message gets out to the nation - and the troops!
Banned them? The libs are loooking to see if they can find a way to euthanize the scouts.
I’ve read the articles:
What happened here was that someone complained to her, so she turned to the city lawyers and said, “What should we do?” The lawyers do what they always do - they told her to pull them out. After all, figure out what’s cheaper - getting rid of the booths, or having this woman pull in the ACLU and sue the City of Cambridge.
What she forgot was that the cheapest thing to do isn’t always the best thing, and that legal advice is just that, advice. It’s not a command, and she, not the lawyers, was appointed to serve the people.
Any young man with time, loving guidance from his parents and positive adult role models will do great things. He and all of his family, will be able walk with honor.
Congratulations to him and your extended family.
Ping to check back later, (gotta go to work)
Amen to you.
Bumping to the top.
Back in 1992, when I was working on my Eagle project, I decided to put some fish houses in the local reservoir to help protect the small fry until they are grown. I talked with the local game warden and the KY Department of Fish and Game folks and they all recommended taking four or five old tires, bolting them together with stainless steel bolts, and putting them out in deep water. I got all of the materials donated and got to work with some of the other scouts getting these houses prepared.
Four days before we were going to go out and put them in the lake, I was informed that someone had protested to the city council about my "dumping" old tires in the lake so we were not going to be allowed to proceed. Fortunately, the game warden was able to direct us to another nearby lake, where the house's were successfully set in deep water and the project was a complete success.
The sad thing is, the person who protested to the city council was the mother of another member of our troop, who didn't even bother talking to us about her concerns. But it all worked out for the best, as the lake that we'd originally planned to put them in had to be drained a few years later because of a leak in the dam. The city put some large concrete houses out in the lakebed before they refilled it, so my houses would have been simply hauled off to the dump.
