Some people have to watch more of the Simpsons. Bart worked the “maize, we call it corn” line into every school report he ever wrote.

whenever I see news item lead off with a Seattle dateline, it always seems to be about some despicable act committed by the far left,

Yes, and I notice a similar trend on stories coming out of your state of Massachusetts, but I don't say things like "It's inhabitants are so naive and anti-American." and then try to justify it by saying "I was only generalizing, of course"

Speaking with precision at the outset is always a good plan  :-)

No settlers, no casinos, no modern health care, sleep in wigwams, hunt buffalo....die age 30? Mourning? They oughta be jumping up and down and clicking their moccasins together!

Just an argument over the time everyone got here. Some wish to confer special status on people who got here before others.

... and sadly upon others that got here late.

Why don't all those educators who are in agreement work on Thanksgiving as way of expressing solidarity and also atonement?

On a somewhat unrelated aside, I've always though that this is one of the funniest Thanksgiving cartoons ever.

Publishing it did get people into trouble though, which is just madness.

I strongly believe my earlier statement about Seattle and will expand it to include the entire Pacific NW (i.e. include Oregon). Unlike you, I really don’t a similar characteristic in the Northeast. That’s probably because it has a far more complex and richer personality.

LMAO!

You really believe that, don't you?  The way that you combine breathtaking arrogance with ignorance is something to behold. Sadly, your silly statements only insult  Northeasterners more refined than yourself , which is the vast majority, from appearances.

As you have demonstrated that you don't have anything coherent to say, any further posts from you will not be welcomed.

Sadly, the Seattle Public Schools have a long history of providing far more than their fair share of Marxist, anti-American and anti-White indoctrination.

When I see stuff like this I realize why my Dad worked so hard to get us out of Seattle and to the Eastside in 1968. Thanks Dad.

Agreed.  I wouldn't wish the Seattle Public Schools on anyone.

Let's tell our liberal friends that if they feel that guilty, then they can give their houses, cars, and properties to some poor indians! Tell them to put their money where there big mouths are!

Okay - I find these kinds of cultural/historical revisionist activities disturbing, particularly when it affects our children. But, remember the power of humor. Go to the hyperlinked letter and replace “Thanksgiving” with “having a bowel movement” and it’s pretty funny. Puts things in perspective.

When I homeschooled for two years a couple of years ago, I bought some kids’ books about Thanksgiving. One, I didn’t even read—just thumbed through it—it looked good. I ended up having to take it back—it was so full of venom toward the Pilgrims.
