Here's the link to French President Nicholas Sarkozy's speech to Congress last week. Prepare to be inspired! In his speech, he gave a moving tribute to the American soldiers who fought and died to liberate France, not once but twice, during the last century.

Rush played some Sarkozy quotes from a speech a few days ago. I was STUNNED by how great those words sounded. It hit me how few American politicians ever say anything like that about our own country.
....John Kerry’s worst nightmare...
We hosted a Veterans Day program at my school yesterday. I showed excerpts of Sarkozy’s speech to my kids on Thursday. They, too, were inspired.
“Hold the freedom fries. Pass me the French fries, if you please.”
Damn a Frenchman I actually like. What’s next?
My, my how things have changed since the days of Schroeder and Chirac!
For all the Bush bashing that comes from the other side of the pond, France and Germany elected Merkel and Sarkozy, leaders who like W take the threat of global terrorism seriously.
BTTT
We have a new ally.
There may be hope!!!!
Tsk! Tsk! Bush is such an idiot. He’s ruined America’s reputation in the world. Let’s see—Harper in Canada...Howard in Australia...Merkel in Germany...Sarkozy in France...Uribe in Colombia...(formerly)Blair in the UK and Aznar in Spain.
Seems to me that most of these leaders are on the same page as W.
“It is a timely tribute as we remember our nation’s veterans this weekend.”
Thanks, that was a great speech!
Let’s raise a glass of fine glass French wine to Sarkozy. Thanks for the kind words...
My boycott of France is officially over..
It’s a shame that we have Americans (Dems) and American businesses (MSM) leading the forces of anti-American rhetoric.
Yeah, whats up with that?
Viva La France (For now)
Yes, it was!
How refreshing to hear a word of thanks for what America has done to liberate millions of people around the world.
