It seems I was right to be suspicious of the Clinton Campaign's version of the tip story at the Iowa diner last month. Hillary's contempt for actual flesh & blood ordinary working people, contrary to her pose of championing their interests, keeps coming through loud and clear. NPR has this today. Read the whole thing to get the complete picture, but here is what is laid out:

We can hope that she’s pressured into giving a $100 tip each time she snarfs at a diner.
Hillary has a long proven track record of stiffing poor waitresses, frequently doing so in upstate NY when campaigning.
I believe Anita (name sounds familiar) will have a nice Christmas with all the freepers tipping her.
Hillary is telling the truth about this the way she is telling the truth when she claims that the Bush Administration (!!???!!!) is refusing to open up her top secret Heath Care Junta files from the 1990s for public inspection.
And to think I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Silly me.
If she can make such a hash of a staged visit to a diner, imagine what she’d do on the world’s stage.
Hillary and her minions not knowing the protocol for tipping ranks higher than Bush 41’s not knowing about supermarket scanners.
These waitresses had better discover that “misplaced” tip and issue a public apology to the Clinton campaign fast or they’re all looking at multi-year IRS audits, back taxes, interest and penalties starting in January, 2009. Possibly serious prison time for income tax fraud.

Actually, I think these people are not what the Clintons are used to. They are honest midwesterners who aren’t being bought off or scared off.
More likely they’ll all commit suicide in highly suspicious ways...

So far Hillary has been unable to produce in person, the staffer that actually left the $100.00 tip.
If this stays in the news, watch for Maidrite manager ‘Brad’ to fall on the sword for Hillary.
He will claim he ‘stole’ the $100 tip. (It’s either that or a little ‘trip’ on the train tracks, Brad).

Bush 41 and the supermarket scanner event never happened.
Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our first lady - a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation - is a congenital liar.
Drip by drip, like Whitewater torture, the case is being made that she is compelled to mislead, and to ensnare her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit.
Not only is she a liar, but neither she nor her staff has the wit or character to just admit a mistake. Instead, they try to cast aspersions on the chaqracter of anyone beneath them on the food chain.
This is a terrible strategy in the midwest.
