A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Good evening, darkwing retired. Does Florida have winter?Good Evening Kathy!
In the panhandle it gets chilly. Last night it got down in the mid 30s and will get down to the 20s ocassionaly. It does snow here but that is very rare and doesn't last for long.

Texas Border Agents Find Man in Suitcase
Nov 8, 5:16 PM (ET)
EL PASO, Texas (AP) - A man hiding in a suitcase and a driver have been detained by Customs and Border Protection officers after a failed smuggling attempt. Authorities believe both men were headed for Denver.
The discovery came during a stop at the Paso del Norte port of entry on Tuesday. The large suitcase was in the back seat of a car.
The driver, 42-year-old Martin Enriquez Hernandez of Denver, was charged with alien smuggling.
The man in the suitcase, 26-year-old Jesus Ivan Payan Estrada of Chihuahua, Mexico, was taken into custody on re-entry after deportation charges.
Customs officials said the main in the bag was 5-foot-7, and weighs about 160 pounds.

The Great Pandemic
READ:
Numbers 21:1-9Even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:14-15
In March 1918, Albert Gitchell, an Army cook at Fort Riley, Kansas, was diagnosed with the flu. Before the year was out, it had spread around the world, killing perhaps as many as 40 million people. This highly contagious virus became a pandemica global epidemic.
One physician reported that patients would rapidly show flu-like symptoms, develop the worst type of pneumonia he had ever seen, and then suffocate within hours. Fortunately, the influenza disappeared as mysteriously as it had begun. But doctors remained baffled by its cause and were helpless to find a cure.
Ancient Israel also suffered a devastating plague, but they knew its cause and asked Moses for a cure. They were ungrateful and complained about Gods provision of manna. In righteous anger, God sent serpents whose poisonous bite left a lethal wound. He then told Moses to make a bronze serpent and put it on a pole. All who looked at it were healed (Num. 21:1-9).
Centuries later, Jesus spoke of this as a symbol of His death on the cross: Even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:14-15).
Have you trusted Jesus to heal your soul?
Our Lord took death upon Himself
On that cruel cross of pain,
And those who look in faith to Him
Eternal life shall gain! Johnson
Look to Christ today, or you may be lost forever.
