In the Ballot Booths, No Fixation on Immigration

By Amy Gardner Washington Post Staff Writer Wednesday, November 7, 2007; Page A01

Voters across Virginia chose candidates in state and local elections yesterday not out of anger over illegal immigration but based on party affiliation, a preference for moderation and strong views on such key issues as residential growth and traffic congestion.

With a few notable exceptions, the trend benefited Democrats and not those who campaigned the loudest for tough sanctions against illegal immigrants.

The Washington Times is claiming exactly the opposite: that the results of yesterday's Virginia elections show the anti-illegal alien vote was decisive.

“strong views on such key issues as residential growth and traffic congestion”
Without the illegal immigrant invasion there would be no “traffic congestion “

“”Voters across Virginia chose candidates in state and local elections yesterday not out of anger over illegal immigration but based on party affiliation, a preference for moderation and strong views on such key issues as residential growth and traffic congestion. “”

When the Post starts with such fluffy editorializing ordering the lieral reader to think one way...I know the real news is not what the libberals like.

The Washington Times article was about the Prince William County race, that a Republican immigration hawk won in a heavily Republican county. In more populous Fairfax, a Democrat, much less tough on immigration, won.

Hooray for the Washington Times. Of course, WaPo is going to lie and cover up the truth concerning voter sentiment. It’s their job as propagandist for the far left and the new world order where there are no borders or nations.

The WaPo is trying to tidy up after Hillary’s “yes-no-maybe” on drivers’ licenses for illegals by claiming no one cares about the illegal issue. HA!

The "traffic congestion" thing has to do with the Democrats. The idea has been that if the Dems could get enough of the large Northern Virginia contingent in the Virginia General Assembly they'd finally be able to shift funds to Northern Virginia roads.

Of course they could have been working with the Republicans from Northern Virginia to get that done, but the Dems didn't want to do that.

So, whatever the Washington Post says, ask yourself "was that their real motive" when the Democrat pukes from Northern Virginia go back to the Senate and demand special rights for homosexuals.

They have enough votes there now to stop business until that issue is addressed the way they want.

They could care less about traffic congestion.

All is not lost in Virgina! With the Mexican government looking on and local Spanish TV mentioning his name every 5 minutes, Cory Stewart won another term on the Prince William County Board of Supervisors. This is a nice pressed-ham to La Raza fans “Mexicans w/o Borders” and CACA de Maryland.

And while it may seem bleak in neighboring Fairfax County w/ Gerry “I just love illegals” Connolly’s victory, things may be changing. Look for the large influx of illegal critters from PW to ghettofy (opposite of gentrify) areas of Fairfax perhaps untoouched to this point. Also, a fellow FReeper is ramping up a Fairfax chapter of Help Save Virginia.
