Pretty weak Christian if she thinks God killed her mother as a way "of getting even" for something. People die and it's usually not fair, especially when it's an innocent child. There are thousands of ways the clergy can explain such events, but to blame Christianity for the death is simply stupid.
Christian women convert and marry muslim men for the same reason that young women join cults. They are seriously missing something in their life and think that they will find it in the cult group. Reminds me of the Applewhite group that sought to find God in the tail of a comet.
Ha! I married an Iranian woman, whose family were secular Shias. She has converted to Christianity (Baptism) and is since three decades a praciticing and BELIEVING Christian.
You see, it also works the other way round.

Another illustration that marriage in our Western society is an endangered institution.
How many *never-married* men and women between the ages of 25 and 35 do you know? How many divorced or single parents?
The women make a declaration of dependency. Once they do this they have no other choices or decisions to make. Islam does it all for them.
They trade uncertainty for certainty even though the certainty is they give up a great part of their individuality.
Actually, he must have actually loved her, because the koran does not require him to leave her and her daughter, it requires him to kill her and to take her daughter...
It’s because the church has abandoned teaching sound doctrine and settled for the fluffy feel good doublespeak.
No sane and intelligent woman would ever give up their faith in Christ for a life of literal bondage and abuse.
Of course, they could get the same thing out of Christianity if so many Christians didn’t roll their eyes every time these women said grace in public or refused to wear painted on clothing.
We don’t do a lot to recognize and support women who need the milk of custom and ritual before they tackle the meat of study and faith. In fact, we do everything we can to make our religion look just like our culture: a social justice wasteland.
No wonder some women are drawn to a belief system that is unashamedly religious. It’s the wrong religion, to be sure, but it admits to being a religion which is more than you’ll get out of the average Episcopal church these days.

I’ve know of four cases myself.
Honestly, in those cases (and I know this sounds callous), the “why” can
be explained in two terms:
1. Morbid obesity
and/or
2. A disconnected brain
I’m not blaming the ladies.
The Muslim guys lasered in on these gals.
They knew who to go after in order to get the papers to stay in the USA.
I have long believed that the main reason there are so many abusive relationships, is that many women choose to have relationships with abusers.
I know a couple and they were never practicing faithful Christians to begin with and second, they have unbelievably dependent personalities.
The WORD of GOD specifically tells us NOT to marry outside of our Faith and that was enough for me.
I know a Christian woman who married (legally, anyway...) a Moslem. I think she did it just to help him get a green card, I really don’t know. Very soon after the wedding he wasn’t living with her, and she seemed unconcerned.
This woman is heavy-set, tall and not very attractive, though she did seem to have a nice disposition. Maybe she was desparate, I just don’t know. Very sad though.
Clearly she got used—but maybe she was asking for it.
At the beginning he claims that many of the women who supposedly converted to Islam had accepted Christ.
Obviously these women are born again and there is no way they would exit their Christian faith to join Islam.

I do find that there are women who somehow are attracted to "differences". They have sometimes had a disappointment with one of their own. The female mind is a mystery in many instances. My liberal spouse (bless her) went to see Betty Mahmoody (sp). Betty lectured at the local Marconi club here. Her Muslim man inveigled her to Iran. She wrote the book, "Not Without My Daughter".
She was trapped in Iran. Wife says Betty told the audience, the kindness of Iranians was overwhelming. The lady an daughter "crossed the frontier" in highest drama.
One just cannot fathom it out. After all, a poor Italian immigrant, lonely and desperate waited tables etc, for two years. One wonders how many lovely flappers scarce glanced at him. How many woman rejected his company. He got into movies. He played his part in "The Sheik".His early death had females commit suicide.

To what question? I can't think of any question for which Islam holds the answer.
I can think of no better arguement than this to inspire people that they MUST understand the fundamentals of Christianity, so they are prepared to give a ready answer to someone exploring Islam.
I once had a liberal doctor with no religion who was interested in Islam. It seems he met a Muslim woman and she had been trying to convert him. I spoke to him about the difference between a “works” religion like Islam vs. a redemption of the heart, such as in Christianity.
He didn’t really respond, but several months later I saw a booklet on his desk that indicated he had started attending a bible study at a local church. I have no idea what happened, but I hope he found the true God.
It is vitally important that conservatives understand how Islam “saves” people. Islam is the reason the middle east is still in the middle ages. Islam is submission, or perhaps suppression.
