University of Delaware officials, who just a day earlier had defended a residence hall series of teachings on which WND reported that told students "all whites are racists," today announced the program is being stopped.
"While I believe that recent press accounts misrepresent the purpose of the residential life program at the University of Delaware, there are questions about its practices that must be addressed and there are reasons for concern that the actual purpose is not being fulfilled. It is not feasible to evaluate these issues without a full and broad-based review," said a statement posted on the school's website by President Patrick Harker.
"Upon the recommendation of Vice President for Student Life Michael Gilbert and Director of Residence Life Kathleen Kerr, I have directed that the program be stopped immediately. No further activities under the current framework will be conducted," he said.
His statement said the school "strives for an environment in which all people feel welcome to learn, and which supports intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, free inquiry and respect for the views and values of an increasingly diverse population. The University is committed to the education of students as citizens, scholars and professionals and their preparation to contribute creatively and with integrity to a global society. The purpose of the residence life educational program is to support these commitments."
Harker said Gilbert will work with the University Faculty Senate and others "to determine the proper means by which residence life programs may support the intellectual, cultural and ethical development of our students."

Good point. There would be a much bigger media outcry than what we white, male, tuition-paying kids got.
No wonder a college education is so expensive. Who are these people and why are they necessary?
When I went to college in the 60's, we had a dorm proctor. That's it. His "residence life educational program" consisted of, "Keep it down in there -- people are trying to study!".
That’s right, Harker and Kerr heads should role.
I hope kids come forward with tales of psychological abuse and sue. The “treatment” should be seen as child abuse.
I hope Fox News follows up. It was great watching Brit Hume frown while reading the story. =)
I'd like to see some law suits, too. UD was doing this for 4 years. Hit them for every constitutional violation possible. Then as part of any settlement, force the colleges to start a studies department on great individuals and the impact they had on society. Let the focus be on what one person can overcome and achieve, no matter their circumstances.
When I was in grad school I had the pleasure of meeting several folks who had grown up in communist countries (not counting China here as I think that is a different case). I knew a guy from Rumania, I guy from Moscow and a prof from Hungary. Every single of these guys told me the same thing - that when they were made to do or say crap like this they all knew it was BS - I guess it goes without saying - but most folks by that age have a very well developed BS detector.
But what is not BS is that they can be made to do and say things against their will. Their status as cowards and “go along with the crazy leftwingers and don’t stand up to them” can be confirmed and ingrained.

They stopped this program, but they haven’t given up their goal: destroy White Christians.

True - would make a good movie. What was scary to me is that the prof I knew from Hungary saw what was going on in our country (this was 8-9 years ago) and said it was eerily similar to what he had seen in Hungary. Didn’t know that there was a movie called Indoctrinate U - I’ll have to look for it.
I remember a few years back, we had the 'Angry White Male.' They keep this shit up and we'll have a 'Deadly White Male' soon.
I remember that. I also remember thinking the guys should have done the same but with female names and a display that said "Potential Ho's".

As a white male, I had no idea that white males were so threatening and imposing to females and minorities, just by being ourselves.
