CNN: Bush speaking beore Conservative think tank
I was listening to Bush's speech today at the 'Heritage Foundation', but divisive CNN knew very well how to make sure [in their titling of: speaking before a conservative think tank] that Bush's war on terror is not collective?, Are liberals' lives not at stakes at the Islamofascists' was on the 'infidels'?
It seems that today, "Conservative" is a "bad word" in liberal dominated media.
Why are foreign wars the only things Bush comprehends when it comes to fighting terror? Why isn’t he announcing new proposals to secure the borders, and denouncing Elliot Spitzer for attempting to subvert American security? I agree with him on Iraq, with the exception of the degree of force (we have been far too gentle), but it seems to me he has little clue when it comes to the homefront.
President Bush has given many excellent speeches throughout his presidency which echo these themes today.
Paleo conservatives and liberals commonly bemoan his lack of legitimate rhetoric. These claims are demonstrably false.
President Bush has done an awesome job on the WOT. It is ridiculous that those of us who support the President are subject to left right radical bashing.
Islamofascism does seek to kill both Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. Freedom of speech makes it necessary that we suffer their rhetoric as if it is reasonable. Withdrawal and isolation are at best slow suicide strategies.
I find the “finally he speaks out” meme intriguing.
He has consistently said these things, but paleos and anti war radicals deny it for various reasons.

This would be akin to one big loudmouth on the block who yells to everyone that he wants to be the Block Captain for Neighborhood Watch, to protect everyone, and yet he is the only guy on the street to have both his Front and Back doors UNLOCKED all the time, and has never taken any significant action against the intruder even in his own garage going through all of his belongings with trash sacks.
