I have brown hair, but my sister is strawberry blonde and a couple of my cousins have positively flaming red hair. So I’ve got the gene.

So all I need is an introduction to Alicia Witt, and I can do my part to save the redheads.

My grandmother always said that redheads were “kissed by an angel” on their heads before they were born. We’re Scotch-Irish so we’ve got a few in the family; however, I am blonde.

I've noticed that there seems to be fewer natural red heads. Although the artificial ones seem to be in abundance. I can’t quite understand what black and Hispanic women are doing when they walk around with a head full of orange hair. For those of you who want to identify real red hair from the fake, look for the freckles.

Interesting, I've got dark brown hair, but my beard has dark red/brown color, though now it's about 1/3 gray.

Same here. Medium brown hair and a beard that is red as hell if I try to grow it out. My Mom's got red hair and Scottish blood. Both of my kids are dark-complected thanks to my wife and her part-Indian ancestry. But we can hold out hope for some generation skipping red hair in the future.
