“We are going to all have to mobilze soon if we want to keep RINO Rooty from taking the primary wins because we all split between too many candidates”

And the MSM wants Rudy, so they can wreck him later.

Has Romney modeled? If we had a Most Handsome award, he would win. He could definitely beat Hillary in that race too!

***********************

Let's face it, any of the candidates on both sides could beat Hillary. Especially in the swimsuit competition. :)

Rudy’s lines are getting rather old. He needs to come up with something else.

We need to get several out. My first choice would be Rudy, but that is unlikely!

I don’t want to admit he makes me laugh. I’m trying to be polite (but THAT’S never worked around here).

I’ve made up my mind on issues and I realize that no one is going to be able to pull off my or his wish list. I want someone who can SELL IT, BABY, SELL IT. While I basically support Bush on his Iraqi war and the Middle East, and while I do believe we need to address a failing within the U.S. on immigration (and I’m not entirely sold on a fence, but like so much else in this topsy-turvy world, it seems to make folks FEEL better), BUSH CAN’T SELL SPACE HEATERS TO ESKIMOS. I’m tired of his inability to articulate and take on the liberal left. I want another Reagan. Now, THERE’S a guy who could deliver the medicine and make you think it was freakin’ orange sherbet.

NO MORE SPENDING, NO MORE BUFFOONS, NO MORE PANDERING, NO MORE TRUSTING SOMEONE BY LOOKING INTO HIS EYES (EVERY SCHOOL GIRL IN HISTORY HAS MADE THAT MISTAKE). Let’s all act like adults now.

WHOEVER all you pollsters, rocket scientists appoint, I’ll be voting for YOUR candidate, yes, even if it’s Ron Paul, because I’d rather have to put the mute on and read the subtitles during the State of the Union Address than have four years of Hillary and Bill back in the White House.

Rush Limbaugh is the king of "uh" and it hasn't hurt him any. I was pleased with Fred in the debate and I'm glad to see some positive press among the hit pieces that always arrive after one of his appearances.

If Fred appeared to be slick and too polished, his critics would say it was because he was an actor. Had he flashed as big as some hoped right out of the shoot, they say he was just a flash in the pan. The truth is, many agree that he seems genuine and real. People tend to believe that he means what he says and, because he has been consistently conservative, there is no reason to doubt him.

Fred is still the clear choice among the members and lurkers here and I think, when the field narrows, most will move their support to him.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Has Romney modeled? If we had a Most Handsome award, he would win.

If you review the footage, it looks like Mitt didn't have his usual stylist last night.

When looking directly ahead, his hair looked a bit flat (after he brushed that stray curl off his forehead early in the debate).

When looking to his left (when he turned to Alan Colmes), he looked terrific, very much like a male model.

But when he looked to his right (turned toward Sean), his hair looked flat and off-balance.

How's that for detailed coiffure political analysis? LOL.

Whatever others say about him here, Ron Paul is a good champion of small-government.

After the spending orgies of the Bush years and the GOP majority, it was pretty hard for economic conservatives and small-government libertarian types to get excited over the GOP.

The party has neglected the entire small-government agenda. And, at least in part, our losses in '06 were a result of that.

I'm hoping other GOP candidates will again pick up the smaller-government agenda. That's what won for us with Reagan. That's what won for us with Gingrinch in '94.

Aw, go ahead. Laugh. It'll make you feel better. And like you said, don't worry about politeness around here when it comes to having a good laugh.

I feel your pain about Bush, the border problem, etc. But I have a few more exceptions than you with this current crop of candidates. NO on Rudy G, McCain and Paul. No ifs, ands nor buts about that, either. A smaller no on Romney and Huckabee. And since I don't believe Hunter and Tancredo have a chance in hell, that's not an issue. So, that leaves Fred. But, that doesn't mean he'll get the nod. And it may mean I'll be voting for someone while holding my nose. BUT! It will NOT be for those on my big NO list. I'll writ-in before I do that.

Here's an example of Mitt practicing the proper holding of a hair dryer and hairbrush for an upcoming shoot of new products for a major small appliances manufacturer:

No he voted correctly in accordance with the principles of federalism.

He voted for tort reform when the reform involved interstate commerce, product liability and cases that involved more than one state but he correctly voted to keep the federal government out of uniquely state issues. He did not want to see tort reform become federalized when it clearly involved issues at the state level.

Texas, Florida and others have passed strong tort reform laws that protect doctors from litigants with no basis. That’s the way it should be.

My wife is a practicing board certified physician and I am a research PhD. We both understand the issue of tort reform in the medical field very well. But federalism is given more priority when it comes to the involvement of the federal government. We can both advance with many of our colleagues medical tort reform in our state without federal government involvement.

When we look at the problems of our society, whether abortion, banning school prayer, public schools and so on, they all have the common theme of having had the federal government stick its nose into activities that it has no business being involved in. Fred Thompson has correctly determined that it is the federal judiciary that has allowed the federal government to expand its scope far beyond anything ever envisioned by the architects of the Constitution.

Fred gave precisely the right answer to Guiliani’s lame attempt at deflecting from the fact that he is a liberal. Guiliani may be a fast talker like most New Yorkers, he may have a good rebuttal on some issues but he is still a liberal. He would do much better as a democrat debating Hillary Clinton in the democrat debates.

Fred messed his hair up off stage just before the start of the debate. Thats why Mitt didn’t even try to counter what Fred said about him and Rooty.
