UPDATE: The city of Malibu is advising residents in Puerco Canyon to begin evacuating due to a wildfire driven by powerful winds. This area is north of Pacific Coast Highway and about 1 mile west of Pepperdine University. Residents along the beach on Malibu Road may soon be evacuated. Pacific Coast Highway is closed between Kanan-Dume Road and Topanga Canyon. Residents are advised to head to the west. Evacuation centers are being set up in the Zuma Beach area.
A wildfire driven by powerful winds in the Malibu Hills this morning threatened a university, destroyed at least one home and forced the evacuation of hundreds more, authorities said.

We interviewed with them regarding the manditory spay/neuter thing - they fell all over themselves printing the LIBERAL viewpoint.
They said it’s still going—they’ll try to keep folks updated as much as possible but to remain aware
as y’all ain’t out of the woods yet (so to speak).
They’re also looking for a white Ford 150 who was seen on Santiago Cyn Rd. (when the fire started?)
I wasn’t listening very closely.
If the OC Register is a liberal rag, what should we call the OC Weekly? LOL.
I know the OCR isn’t as conservative as they used to be, but frankly, I don’t think they are just making things up to make State Govt look bad. The excerpt I quoted was not opinion—it didn’t even have a liberal/conservative view. It had to do with number of aircraft.
I missed most of it..They’re looking for a white Ford F150 with tubular chrome step running underneath the passenger and driver doors. Apparently this is a vehicle of interest...In other words, a suspect vehicle in the OC arson case.
Well, they completely ignored the conservative point of view on my issue. Completely
When I did a phone interview with them back in the mid-1990's, what they printed had nothing at all in common with our interview. They manufactured an interview that fit into their overall 'storyline'. It was after that I decided to never do an MSM interview again. What you read in the paper and what you see on the boob tube is manufactured news. But hey, that is why the New Media is here today.
REGULAR cab not like the link I put up, I assume...it was just on KFI. Regular bed, chrome tubular step bumpers (running boards)...

Turning back at roadblocks
Posted @ 6:45 PM
As people who were evacuated from their homes return, the roadblocks around the perimeter of evacuated areas are frightening some people from returning home.
Some undocumented immigrants, or legal-resident families who have a relative in the country illegally, are choosing to turn around and go elsewhere until the roadblocks — some staffed by Border Patrol agents assisting other law enforcement — are gone.
Christian Ramirez of the American Friends Service Committee, a Quaker-affiliated human rights group assisting immigrant families, said the norm so far for acceptable papers has been that any sort of document with a person’s name and address.
However, he said, seeing a uniform is all it takes for some.
“Folks, regardless of that, as soon as they see the Border Patrol, they are going to make a U-turn and go back,” he said.
Ramirez said these situations have been cropping up as larger numbers of people return home from emergency shelters.
Throughout the week, Border Patrol agents have been assisting other law enforcement agencies with evacuations, traffic and perimeter control, and other duties.
“They are helping out,” said agent Matthew Johnson, adding that the agency has not put up any tactical checkpoints to search for people here illegally.
heehee doesn’t that just break your heart?
Can't imagine some poor guy having a truck that happens to resemble that one right now. There must be 5,000 white F150s running around that region.
Yep....I thought of the same thing...it’s gonna be a real bummer for awhile, driving one of those...
Kinda like driving a white van in the DC area a few years ago.
The American Friends Service Committee, and Christian, have been actively involved in every racially motivated incident in the county for the last two years, even the ones they have to create. They’re masters of self-promotion.
The AFSC has long since lost any resemblance to a church-affiliated organization. They’ve been taken over by extreme leftists, and they’re recipients of some of George Soros’ money.
When I heard Christian had returned from his recent trip to Mexico, I anticipated he’d soon find some way to inject himself into a public issue, and... by golly.. he has.
Thanks! I haven’t followed the AFSC’s recent activities, but I’ve researched them quite a bit going back to 1940, and even some earlier info from the 1920s. They seem to have been attached to every leftist movement in recent history that I can think of. While they may use the church to support their anti-war/pacifist ideology, I see everything Marxist and little Christian about them.
Their work in Mexico is not new. In 1940, I found them operating there as the “Sociedad de los Amigos.”

Heck if I know....the LA Times keeps forgetting KFI donated all that money to catch the arsonist....if the LA Times donated that much, they would have to lay off the second shift.
Some type of fire in the Angeles Natl Forest called the Shoemaker Incident, but it sounds pretty small.
Heh. Ain't THAT the truth?
If anyone knows anything about Arrowbear.....???
I cant imagine how they found the fire without a yellow jacketed CalFire spotter.
