UPDATE: The city of Malibu is advising residents in Puerco Canyon to begin evacuating due to a wildfire driven by powerful winds. This area is north of Pacific Coast Highway and about 1 mile west of Pepperdine University. Residents along the beach on Malibu Road may soon be evacuated. Pacific Coast Highway is closed between Kanan-Dume Road and Topanga Canyon. Residents are advised to head to the west. Evacuation centers are being set up in the Zuma Beach area.
A wildfire driven by powerful winds in the Malibu Hills this morning threatened a university, destroyed at least one home and forced the evacuation of hundreds more, authorities said.

This was a different one . . . a fleeting one . . .
I’m not a big fan of rank globalist liberal Californicators flushing our Nation down the tubes as fast as they can . . . kowtowing to Shrillery, Soros et al to the max, in the process.
In terms of God disciplining CA or any other spot on the globe . . . I think it’s scheduled. Don’t know when or in what sequence.
You are still clinging to your constructions on reality. I find some of them as devoid of connection to solid evidence as you find some? of mine.
BTW, there have been prophetic voices speaking for some years with greater and greater frequency about increased forest/brush fires . . .
1214 1:34PM Report of Fire LYTLE CREEK San Bernardino
1:34PM BRUSH FIRE IS NEAR RESIDENTIAL AREA
oh yeah, this was before was had all that work done to become a baboon.
It is also a conservative area!
That's the funny thing, people automatically assume it is a liberal haven, but in that area it seems more conservative than where I live even here in Florida. I didn't run into any moonbats out there except a few occasions like when I went to the Trader Joes and there was a table and tent setup outside with signs and a man and a woman handing out crap about the need to impeace Dick Cheney, and it was an organization supportive of Lyndon Larouche...
LOL--then I must not even be a member yet!
LACFD is out of engines...
there is a new fire Sierra Hwy and Mint....they need 15 more engines immediate need and the closest ones are LAFD in the Valley....already losing homes....40 mph winds
two of the helispots unusable also because of winds.
another start in bouquet cyn too
We are at 3000 ft. elevation up here in the Angeles Forest and it’s blowing mighty hard. Had the power out all morning, it’s back on now. Just praying there’s no sparks.
“Watching that castle burn on one of the feeds was just heartbreaking”
Drove by it almost every day for 20 years........
I was in the castle several times in the late 70s thru the mid-1980s when the original owner and builder lived there (Tom Hodges and his wife were friends of the family). The furniture and fixtures were exquisite. The bathrooms were done built around antique basins, the stones outside imported from England. He spent over 3 years building it and more years finishing the inside.
While magnificient, it also had a very cold feeling inside. The views were fantastic though.
” Trader Joes “
That must be the one in Westlake Village. It is the ONLY place in town where I have seen moonbats!
These days I never know where parody begins and reality ends.
It seems any looney thing is possible.
It's 30 years old. I guess that qualifies as history...in Colly-forrnia. Fun building to look at, even though it has no more meaning than Jellystone Park.
A true Malibu landmark....been driving by it a quarter century......sad.
any media live reports on that fire?

I am in Ventura today,
right now:
Ash is falling in North Ventura proper. Smoke is thick around town. Heavy smell of smoke and red sky edging much of the hills.

KCAL is showing Castaic now....they were on the Agua Dulce fire before (BUCKWHEAT IC)
