"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

‘We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.’ —Ronald Reagan

Whether you can “tolerate” it or not, It happened in ‘92, ‘96, ‘06 even in 2000 when the DUI cast doubt on G.W.B’s credibility and let us not forget the last admitted pro choice Republican gerald ford who lost to Jimmy Carter. the last democrat to get over 50% of the vote.

Either help get a conservative through that primary, or get used to tolerating enough of the base staying at home again. that or finding another option.

Look. My first wife had malignant melanoma diagnosed when she found out she was pregnant with our second child. She had to undergo emergency radical surgery to try to save her life. We were at a catholic hospital (the same one who watched as my Mother went into cardiac arrest and died.) we had to end that pregnancy to save my wife’s life. Well, she died a horrible death from melanoma spreading to her intestines, spinal chord and brain. Do not, I pray as a conservative person, judge what we had to do. I endured six years of hell.

I do not want Hillary Clinton elected President of the United States. If Rudy Guiliani is the nominee of the Republican Party and can beat Herself the First then I will indeed vote for her. This has struck a nerve with me. I hate abortion too, but it is between a man, his wife, his doctor and his God.

I think Guiliani is the MSM’s best hope for a third party split with the conservatives. The MSM is desperate to push out conservatives from the GOP. We also have RINOs and especially women who are Republican by marriage who have no problem voting for Hillary when it is NYC left vs NYC left. By eliminating the rino Rudy factor the distictions are too dramatic.

No Giuliani, no third party.
No Giuliani, no split
No Giuliani, no problem for GOP

Explain to me how voting, e.g. a third party candidate and therefore, by default, allowing the democrat candidate to win is "winning". All of the candidates for the Republican nomination, including Giuliani, are better than any of the democrat candidates where it comes to pro-life positions. You can rest assured that if the democrat is elected by those who are pro-life by either staying away or voting for a third party, the cause of life is not advanced. It is a classic case of cutting off ones nose to spite it's face. Don't do that.

What if this position results in more deaths in the long runs?

Please suggest any scenario where voting against an abortionist candidate for president would INCREASE the number of abortions.

Permitting democrats to take elected offices will not protect any of the unborn. It can only serve to make things worse.

While your argument seems to be well reasoned, I will take exception:

If one allows the Republican Party to win with a Pro-choice candidate, it will effectively remove the Pro-Life plank from the platform. It is probable that abortion will never be revisited as a party issue ever again- ergo, Pro-life will have no champion.

If the Republicans will not defend Pro-Life, as it is Pro_life's only defender (politically), it is a virtual acceptance of abortion into our society.

One must also look to the moral fiber of our party and our country. If we cannot be trusted to defend the weakest and most vulnerable of our own society, then what right have we to defend anything?

First we have George Bush and the last Republican congress establish the GOP as the party of big spenders. Now we are asked to support a New York liberal, abortion supporter, gay rights advocate, cross dresser as the party nominee should he get it. Maybe we can get someone that is anti-military next and complete the transition to Dem-lite. Maybe you are satisfied with the direction of the party but I do not vote for liberals no matter what letter is behind their names.

Respectfully disagree - The current WOT/WWIV is more important than the long going battle of abortion.

Reality is Mr. Giuliani will not make abortion his litmus test for appointing federal judges (as most certainly will Democrats), however, Mr. Giuliani will appoint conservative judges to the bench. Being a conservative in terms of the law will be his guidelines (as it should be).

The abortion battle (for those on the pro-life side) is being won via education & technology.......

Reality is serious minded adults need to make choices between the options actual available to them (even when bad, ugly options are all they may have during a given instance)....one cannot wish away such realities nor choose some pie-in-the-sky nonviable alternative.

If Mr. Giuliani were to win the GOP nomination...and the choice be between him or the ilk of the Democrat candidate....There is no real choice for the serious minded at this time period, with this great nation. Mr. Giuliani would have to be that choice.

We have too many warriors down range risking all 24/7 than to cut bait on them over a domestic issue that has been on going for the past 40 years (+) -

"What if this position results in more deaths in the long runs?"

It won’t unless we surrender. If the Republican party abandons the fight for life and liberty, then the pro-abortion socialists will reign supreme.

As for me and my family—we vote with you, Jim—no pro-choice candidate will get our vote.

I have 43 direct, living descendents-——all of those old enough to vote (there are 17 as of now) will not vote for a pro-choice candidiate. Those still too young to vote will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors when they are able to vote.

The recent examples of 2000, 2004 and 2006 should be a major clue. The Presidential elections were close only because a REAGAN conservative wasn't in the running and the base stayed home. The 2006 election was lost when Republicans didn't stick to conservative principles, thus losing their base voters.

When you push "moderate" candidates, there isn't much difference in them or the democrat and that alone drives the base away. When you push for CONSERVATIVE candidates, it isn't even a close race.

not voting for Rudy Giuliani in the primary eliminates the issue.

Giuliani obviously is devisive and therefore a liability.

the solution

no Giuliani, no problem.
