Your "if" premise is false, so the "then" phrase is not valid either. No, they DON'T have a legitimate political philosophy, at least not one that people will accept if it were to be expressed openly. They never DO express it openly. However, if you want to know how they think about this, here it is: the masses won't accept their political philosophy because no one is smart enough to understand it. The masses just aren't smart enough to recognize how good they would have it "if only" the elite, super-intelligent leftists were put into power over every aspect of their lives.
