My fave is sauted eggplant, mushrooms, and onions, on a chewy baguette with mayo and swiss cheese.

Hmmmm.....so many "things".

The Clemenza:

Soppresata, sun dried tomatoes, grilled zucchini, grilled red peppers, fresh mozzarella, drizzled with olive oil and pepper. Served on bread made with semolina flour.

Immeasurably....I have internet, albeit slow, email, databases, server files! Whew! It’s rough not having the tools to do your job.

You got that right! To add to the misery downtown had a power outage today. Intersections had to be controlled by police and many homes and business’ were with out power. Power has obviously returned here but still....

Don’t know the reason yet.

BREAKING NEWS: Sierra Vista area suffers power outage on Tuesday
By Laura Ory
Herald/Review

Published on Tuesday, October 09, 2007

SIERRA VISTA — Electric service across much of the Sierra Vista area was down Tuesday afternoon.

The primary and alternative feeds from the Arizona Electric Power Cooperative shut down at about 1:10 p.m., said Jack Blair, chief member services officer for Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative.

Sierra Vista, Hereford, Palominas, Whetstone and Huachuca City were affected by the outage. Fort Huachuca was not affected by the outage because their power is provided by Tucson Electric Power, Blair said.

Customers, including Dan Greene, were stopping by SSVEC at 311 E. Wilcox Drive to find out when power would be restored.

“I just bought 150 bucks worth of groceries,” Greene said.

He planned to stop by a convenience store to get some ice to keep the food from spoiling.

A transformer at AEPCO’s Pantano substation was locked out and took out the transmission line to their Kartchner substation, said Dennis Criswell, vice president of marketing for AEPCO.

Criswell said crews still were trying to find out why the transformer had shut down.

In the meantime, electricity from their San Raphael substation was being used to power Sierra Vista and surrounding areas, Criswell said.

SSVEC began returning power, one-block-at-a-time, at about 2 p.m., Blair said. The cooperative expected to restore power for all areas by about 3 p.m.
