Good evening, all!
I'm surprised it wasn't a quiz -- What Kind of Sandwich Are You??
I shouldn't say that too loudly .. that could be coming tomorrow!
Hot roast beef and melted American cheese (gravy optional -- unless it's good gravy and then it's mandatory!)
If I at work, I usually opt for something quicker and less messy, either an Italian sub or a turkey club.
If you're near Morris Plains, NJ, right off Route 10 (the border with Parsippany) and Route 202, there used to be (might still be there) a liquor store that served sandwiches. They made good sandwiches. I got hooked on the mozerella and sun-dried tomatoes on top of ... been a while -- I forgot what kind of meat was in the hero. Not like me to forget that.
Oh, and add a little shredded lettuce and tomato and oil and vinegar to top it off. Well, not to the roast beef.

Did you get this info from Alton Brown? He did an episode of his show on the Food Network a couple of years ago about the sandwich. Had his “nephew” over to help out! LOL!

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.
