Cumin is probably my favorite spice.

I use bottles of it a year.

Roated peppers is a good idea!

Olives too....

My fave is sauted eggplant, mushrooms, and onions, on a chewy baguette with mayo and swiss cheese.

Nana's father always ate his eggplant parmagiana on a hard roll, softened up with sauce (gravy, he called it). Another reason a good Italian dinner lasts you several days!!

My Dad always ate weird sandwiches.

I’ve seen him make a peanut butter, bologna, mayo & onion sammich with a hunk of cheddar. (everything had a hunk of cheddar):)

Sandwich?

"Err uh, we want to say one thing to the American people. We want you to listen to us. Senator Dodd and I did not have waitress sandwich relations with that La Brasserie server. We never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And we need to go back to work on the American people."

"Psst Chris. Do you think they'll believe that $hit? I swiped it from that hick governor in Arkansas. That bitch wife of his said he won't be needing it anymore."

There was a sub place in Irvington, N.J. that had the biggest, tastiest subs you can find on Clinton Ave. there. You could drool all over yourself in the middle of the night dreaming about eating one while sleepwalking around your fridge. They were that good. Your wife wouldn’t mind the crumbs either. Burp!
