I'm home! Thanks to all y'all for the prayers and well wishes, I know they made a huge difference.
It's great to be out of the hospital (coughGULAGcough) and back at The Keep.
I feel like crap and am weak as hell and a little afraid of the skid row bum that's
looking out of the mirror at me... but I might just keep the beard!! Lost 16 pounds.
I won't be going back to work for a couple of weeks so that'll
give me time to answer some posts on this crazy too-long thread!
Thanks again, y'all.. more later.

BLESS YOU, Darlin’, and I am so happy for you that I just can’t say. I’ve been saying my Rosary for you every day, and my prayer at night when I can’t sleep, and first thing in the morning ...
I’m SO HAPPY that you’re home!

How's it going, how you doing,
Are you feeling good tonight?
Do you mind if I ask questions
Do you think it'd be alright?
Did she tell you we went out once?
Did she say she loved me too?
Did she tell you that I laughed
when I found out she was with you?
Does she make you buy her jewelry?
Does she make you speak in tongues?
Does she tell you about her brother
who's got liquid in his lungs?

Geez, heck of a way to go on a diet! Try low carbing it the next time! LOL
Glad to see your posting on here FRiend! Sorry you had such a rough time of it. But the GOOD LORD had other plans for you. He answered some hard praying.
Take care (and no more worrying “old” nurses that way again! I may only be 56, but my health isn’t all that hot anymore, K?)

Glad as hell to hear that you're back at The Keep. Just let the ladies take care of you for a while, whichever ladies might want to do that, and you'll be fine.
I'm undergoing Physical therapy myself right now, for a knee problem. One of the therapists is tiny little Japanese, by ancestry, lady. She's also retired US Army where she learned the Western style of torture to add to whatever came from her Eastern ancestors.
The other is a retired cannon cocker, who took up the fine art later in life. Yesterday he was working on another guy, the other guy was really, truly in pain. I told the therapist that if he did that in Abu Gharib or GitMo they'd put him on trial for war crimes. He just laughed, manically.

Couple of weeks home?
Here’s what hubby does now that he’s retired....
Rush - 11:00 - 2:00
Sean - 2:00 - 5:00
Savage - 5:00 - dinnertime
FNC - 7:00 - 9:00
Exciting, eh? But I guarantee that you’ll gain weight if you sit around listening to talk radio all day!
Seriesly, I’m glad you have the worst behind you. Now CHEW GUM whenever you feel tense. Know what I mean?? I’m rooting for you!
