It's Massachusetts. As the popular bumper sticker points out, they might better ask, "Do your parents let you ride with the Senator?"
If I had a doc who asked such questions, I might be tempted to ask back, "Tell me, Doc...are you one of those irresponsible parents who has no way of defending your children?" or "You first, Doc... are you a low-risk target?"
