Lost the ability to download cookies from Free Republic for quite some time. I'm back now.
I'd like to reconnect with the Stop Rudy list so I can ping 'em to combat the Rudophiles who are infiltrating FR again.
Anyone got the ping list?
It’s longer than what I had posted... I thought I’d wait until tonight after a bunch of folks I pinged have a chance to add themselves. I’ll post it, or freepmail you with the whole list, tonight, okay?
I found a backup version of the pinglist. But it looks a little old (Late April?). I’ll FReepmail it to you and it should be a good start for a new pinglist.
Cool. I started mine on my FR page, too. Let’s keep it updated!!!
Present!
Spiff emailed an old version—I’m consolidating that with the new names. I’ll wait until tonight to see if Spiff can find the newer list, then we can make sure multiple people have a copy.
I’ll mail ya tonight.
I am in. The ball is rolling. Bye Rooty!
Yeah, but are ya “armed and dangerous”?
It appears we need a big arsenal to fight the liberal trolls. ;-)
rubbish
People dont have to support Rudy or even like him. But they should not lie about what he said.

"On the Federal judiciary I would want judges who are strict constructionists because I am. Im a lawyer. Ive argued cases in the Supreme Court. Ive argued cases in the Court of Appeals in different parts of the country. I have a very, very strong view that for this country to work, for our freedoms to be protected, judges have to interpret not invent the Constitution. Otherwise you end up, when judges invent the constitution, with your liberties being hurt. Because legislatures get to make those decisions and the legislature in South Carolina might make that decision one way and the legislature in California a different one. And thats part of our freedom and when thats taken away from you thats terrible. President Bush has the great model because I think as the President he appointed some really good ones and both of them are former colleagues of mine, Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Alito. Justice Scalia is a former colleague of mine. Somebody that I think Chief Justice Roberts is a great chief justice and hes young and he can have a long career and thats probably the reason the President and Vice President chose him. I think those are the kinds of justices I would appoint: Scalia, Alito and Roberts. If you can find anybody as good as that, you are very, very fortunate."
His record is of appointing Liberal judges. He was open in hid laudits for Liberal SCOTUS Justices until he ran for the GOP nod.
Now, he’s “Pro Life (according to Sessions),” “Pro Second Amendment (with caveats),” and all about Roberts, Alito, and Scalia.
Sell stupid somewhere else - we’re not buying.
Add me if I’m not already on the list. Add me again if I am on the list.;O)
You have been added! Twice. ;-)
Both!
And this strict constructionist, Mayor Giuliani, wants to "REGULATE consistent with the Second Amendment"
ROFLMAO!!!
This man walks all over the Constitution--daily!
Not true.
He never sung her praises as a justice. He said she was intelligent and a verg good lawyer. He said John Roberts should get a fair shake in the nomination process because he is just as intelligent and well qualified AS Ginsberg who sailed through the process. He DID say he would nominate an Alito, Scalia or a Roberts.
Lets look at the quote.
COLMES: Now, Roe vs. Wade — You are pro-choice. How important is it to you as a pro-choice Republican to have a pro-choice on the court as someone... GIULIANI: That is not the critical factor. And what’s important to me is to have a very intelligent, very honest, very good lawyer on the court. And [Roberts] fits that category, in the same way Justice Ginsburg fit that category. I mean, she was — she maybe came at it from a very different political background, very qualified lawyer, very smart person. Lots of Republicans supported her. I expect, and listening to Senator Nelson, I expect that John Roberts will get support from a lot of Democrats.
;-)
John Quincy Adams told me to vote on principle. So, I'll cherish the sweet reflection that my vote didn't go to a cross-dressing, pro-abortion authoritarian running as a Republican.
Consider this:
If Hillary is elected the republicans will be solidified.
If Rudy is elected the republicans can go to hell.
It's not just abortion. Rudy is a liberal on all of the issues except for the war, and on the war he'll be an authoritarian type who'll turn this country into a police state under the guise of fighting terrorism. Law-abiding citizens will get harassed while illegals will be tolerated and the borders remain wide open.
