Well, Harry might be protecting Harkin since it turns out Harkin is among the number of “phony soldiers” that lied about havig served.

As well as writing Clear Channel, write your representatives, armed forces radio, local media and wouldn’t hurt to issue a wave of support by visting Rush’s site and subscribing if you don’t.

As I’ve said before, I don’t care if they target a RINO, or an establishment Republican, but I’ll fight on behalf of Rush as hard as I’ve fought amnesty or for judges and the war. Rush is more important then the whole of the nitwits that make up d.C. and the MSM and he’s going nowhere for exposing the truth.

This is the opening salvo in the left's war against talk radio.

Screw 'em !!

And screw Soros, Hillary, Media Matters, etc., etc.

Whether he goes anywhere isn’t the only issue....

Personally, I think we’ve got the Liberals caught in their own smear attempt and a chance to expose more people to the truth of “phony soldiers” and SOROS’s M.M./Hillary connection. As well, the bigger this gets, the more people checking Rush out to hear his side, more chances to expose the libs. When the opportunity presents itself to harm your enemies, you take advantage. and unlike the Libs, we have solid ground to do it.

At times here on FR we have to point out to some poster that the word "censorship" means that the government takes away the right of free speech.

In this case with Rush Limbaugh we actually have a real case of censorship. But what is even worse is that they are trying to force him to apologize. They are trying to force him to say what they want him to say. Not only does Harry Reid piss on Rush Limbaugh's right of free speech he is acting like he's in the old Soviet Union.

By the way, moveon.org is a nonprofit corp. that has agreed to do certain things to maintain their tax free status. They even have to report their financials to the IRS and that information is public. Limbaugh is a private citizen in a private enterprise and he pays big bucks in the way of taxes. Big difference!

This could be a blessing in disguise - it’s impossible to get the MSM to pay attention to stories like the phoney soldier issue de nova, but when their buddies fire the first round and they think they’ve got somebody like Rush in trouble, a strong, well-documented reply which shows what liars they are is also difficult to ignore, at least for a bit - Reid and his henchmen are apparently sending a letter of complaint someplace or other - an emphatic response from Limbaugh, maybe talking at first about how so many of the “soldiers” in John Kerry’s organization turned out not to have served and then going on to talk about some of the fakes running around today, should embarrass Reid no end.......

“Rush is going nowhere”

No, he won’t. I do want to show my support for Rush and I hope these idiots get overwhelmed with emails supporting Rush. He is, of course, on loan from God. ;) It’s the least we can do.

You are as confident as Rush is- however, could you please email your Senator and House member just to be sure. Or, if you live in a Dem. state would you please go to Clearchannel.com and send off an email that you support Rush.

“I don’t think Rush is in any danger of getting taken off the air.”

I agree, the stations would lose too much advertising dollars and another station will be more than willing to pick him up. Besides, there is the internet and satellite route as well.

Rush will be heard!!

There is no way that these left wing nut jobs are going to force Rush off the air. He is the most listened to personality and clear channel would be nuts to get rid of him. So everybody relax, and then start flooding Reid's office w/ e-mails and phone calls!

The criminal, rotten Left cannot stand the daylight of TRUTH about itself. It does not want ANYONE TO HEAR THE TRUTH about them...who and what they are, and what their agenda for America is. That realization is a reflection on the days of Stalin, Hitler and our own father of socialism, FDR. You have the power-mad socialist element, along with the criminality all rolled into the lefts’s campaign for 2008. And she does not want you to HEAR WHO AND WHAT SHE REALLY IS. And these totalitarian socialists are well funded with the perverted, demented likes of Soros, et al.

Rush, and the truth of talk radio, will be under attack, and we will be here to stand behind all of them.

I disagree with Brent. Rush doesn't need anyone's help to defend himself. Rush vs. Reid is like Steven Hawkings vs. Carrot Top.

This is an opportunity to make the Dem Senators charge full bore out on a rotten limb and end up making every leftist look stupid and dishonest. But they need to be encouraged to attack Rush not back off. If they don't continue this attack and fully commit themselves they can weasel back down from it.

I have no doubt that some sane Dem operatives are doing all they can to get Reid et al to chill out. Personally I think the Dem offices should be overwhelmed, by us, with support in this insane attack. Feed their arrogance. This accusation is so untrue, so flimsy and so easily disproved that the further they go the worse they will look when it all washes out.

By all means call Pubbie pols and urge them to condemn the attack on Rush. Fax and e-mail them the details of the truth. Send them links. But don't give the Dems reason back away from this. Rush is just waiting to eat their lunch. The more they attack the more lunch he eats.

See and hear Rush's response to Kerry's initial attack and the entire original segment in question on

Reid reminds me of that snide dried up conniving hate-filled Professor Elwell character from the 1951 movie People Will Talk.

Personally Hairy and Nancy Pelosie are two ugly looking dudder Prunes.

For those who have not seen the 1951 movie People Will Talk with Cary Grant, Jeanne Crain, Hume Cronyn it reminds me a lot of Hairy Reid and the Democrats.

Movie quotes:
Doctor Noah Praetorius: Professor Elwell(AKA HAIRY REID), you are the only man I know who can say ‘malignant’ the way other people say ‘Bingo!’.

Professor Barker: Elwell (AKA HAIRY REID), you can use more words more unpleasantly than any irritating little pipsqueak I’ve ever known!

Shunderson: Professor Elwell (AKA HAIRY REID), you’re a little man. It’s not that you’re short. You’re...little, in the mind and in the heart. Tonight, you tried to make a man little whose boots you couldn’t touch if you stood on tiptoe on top of the highest mountain in the world. And as it turned out...you’re even littler than you were before.

Here is an excerpt of a review by By Ugur Akinci

“This is such a curious and astonishing film that it’s hard to decide whether it’s a classic gem or a bungled effort to deliver a number of political messages through the “motion picture” format.

Directed and written by Joseph L. Mankiewicz (adapted from a play by Curt Goetz), the film features the university doctor Prof. Noah Praetorius (played by the eternally suave and smooth Cary Grant), a mysterious, mischievous and mystical doctor who not only cures his patients through unorthodox means (which would perhaps be called “Human-Centered New Age Approach” in 2006) but apparently even brings them back from the dead!

This of course does not sit well by his insanely jealous colleague Professor Elwell (AKA HAIRY REID) who tries to debunk Praetorius’s credentials throughout the movie and thus provides the classic Protagonist-Antagonist dramatic tension line. But that’s only one of the plot lines running from one end of this multi-tasking plot to the other.

Another most memorable character is Mr. Shunderson (Finlay Currie), a white-haired and silent elderly man who shadows Praetorius as his side-kick and servant wherever they go. He is like Praetorius’s shadow and Professor Elwell is pretty sure he is a screen hiding something unsavory in Praetorius’s past.

At every opportunity throughout the film we are treated to a lecture by Praetorius on how misdirected the modern science has become by forgetting the human essence of medicine and instead focusing on methods, measurements and machines. His symbolic act of pressing a candy into the palm of everyone he meets is a visual reminder of the role of kindness, human touch and plain “sweetness” play in his approach to curing others. He is the kind of handsome and optimistic doctor that most patients fall in love with, some, like Higgins, literally.

The last long sequence of the movie (Act Three) is devoted to the trial of Praetorius by a university committee to see if the rumors are true and if he has violated any academic rules by hiding any sordid details of his past. The discipline committee hearing takes place while the university orchestra is waiting in the jam-packed concert hall for Praetorius to show up at the podium and pick up his baton. Yes — the multi talented Praetorius happens to be the conductor of the university’s symphony orchestra as well.

The hearing comes to a conclusion with Shunderson showing up in person and spoiling Prof. Rodney Elwell’s character (AKA HAIRY REID)assassination by telling his story. It turns out he has spent 15 years in jail for being falsely accused of killing his best friend who, while he was in prison, had a good time with Shunderson’s girlfriend.”

Yes, I will. Even though I am probably the least worried about this, other than Rush.

Personally, I don’t even feel that it’s anywhere close to a threat. Matter of fact, I think Brent may be overreacting. I do appreciate that he’s brought it to a little more attention, but Rush has been through much more than something like this.

I feel that Rush is untouchable. Not because he has a large audience and what not... but because he can back up what he says. Rush has too much ammo against the libs to not have an aruge in any of this. Who in the game is more articulate than Rush??

Those that hate Rush, will pile on... those that do not will understand.

Rush will handle this, folks. He is the ultimate orator and will overcome.

From a business perspective, after all that Clearchannel has been through, they cannot afford to lose Rush. They have had cutbacks like crazy. No way Clear Channel will cut Rush from their menu.

I think everyone should just sit back and watch Rush work his magic.

You can try email if his voice mail is full.

Go here:

http://www.outsourcecongress.org/outsource/congress/schstaffers.html

Change the state in the box from Colorado to Nevada. It will bring up all the email addresses for Reid’s staff. There is a link to email his entire staff if you want.

Judging from the email format for the staffers, one could take a wild guess that Harry’s email is

harry_reid@reid.senate.gov

Worth a try. Worst thing that can happen is that it will bounce back.
