Another absolutely disgusting example of pre-emptive dhimmitude, in the name of tolerance and multiculturalism, right here in the US: First Jell-O, now Santa.
So long, Halloween parade. Farewell, Santas gift shop.
The holiday traditions are facing elimination in some Oak Lawn schools this year after complaints that the activities are offensive, particularly to Muslim students.
Final decisions on which of the festivities will be axed will fall to the principals at each of Ridgeland School District 122s five schools, Supt. Tom Smyth said.
Parents expect that the announcement is going to add to the tension that has been building since officials agreed earlier this month to change the lunch menu to exclude items containing pork to accommodate Muslim students. News that Jell-O was struck from the menu caused such a stir that officials have agreed to bring it back.
Gelatin is often made with tissue or bones of pigs or other animals.

One more chink in our culture
Hehehe....which is why they are scared chitless of American women, especially Texas women...or at least...
they “should” be.
Political Islam has annihilated every culture it has invaded or immigrated to. The total time for annihilation takes centuries, but once Islam is ascendant it never fails. The host culture disappears and becomes extinct.
Or put another way: if we do not learn the doctrine of political Islam, our civilization will be annihilated just as Egypt s Coptic civilization was annihilated.
Hmmm. Maybe the "gays" are in trouble, after all.
They'll probably lobby to make the celebration of "halloween" mandatory.
Anyone besides me getting sick and tired of pandering to muslims? They don’t want to fit in and want everything we believe in gone.
If they are offended, they can take their pedofile prophet and go back to their sand and camels.
Because in the West moslems and homosexuals share "otherness" and are (at least quasi-) allies. It'll be most interesting to see how the two parties work this out among themselves, though.
I am sick of it too!!!
Perfectly stated!
Most Western leaders (France's new government being the exception - unlike the last government in bed with Saddam & oil deals) do not fully fathom the seriousness of the enemy's goals & tactics, which means we will still have to learn the hard way.
I recently went on a business trip with a colleague of mine where he told me abot the past hundred years of his family’s history. He’s a Christian. In the early 1900s his family fled Armenia when the muslims decided to exterminate the Armenians. His family fled to a country that was 99% Christian, Lebanon, where he was born. As a teenager he left Lebanon with his family for the USA. Lebanon was 90% Christian then. He remenbers a peaceful country with roads, western style housing and tree lines street. Now all that remains is a sand pit, filth, violence and muslims.
He says he will never return to Lebanon and hopes that the liberal PC obscessed environment in the USA will not be the instrument of turning the USA into a cesspool of violence and strife that seems to be all that muslims understand.
It would appear that in a single century (or less) muslims can ruin anything they touch.
Islam sees us as either : muslim, slaves, or dead.
> Islam sees us as either : muslim, slaves, or dead.
That’s OK. I see muslims as degenerates, terrorists, and filthy ignorant opportunists without the intelligence to live in the community of men.
That is very true.
Amen, pandora. I never remember this kind of BS when I was growing up in the 40s and 50s. Everyone either celebrated Christmas with us or ignored us.
Hehehe....which is why they are scared chitless of American women, especially Texas women...or at least...
they should be.

My school district gets theirs from property taxes
Yes, but that money is divided up among the schools according to how many students each one has.
