"There is no way he is an asset. He is a huge liability, and he is going to have to do a big, big hiding act if a Republican is going to win."Hard to argue with that.

If I had a comb-over as bad as Trump’s, I’d go into hiding!

From the “Full Story” link:
...Trump and the president agree on who will likely win the Democratic nomination: New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.
“I know her very well. She’s very talented, and she has a husband I also like very much,” he said...
To: RDTF
Trump is the laughing stock, despite his riches. His comments on this day, about a man who garnered more votes than any other presidential candidate in the history of the Republic, and for his second term, make that fact (that Trump himself is the laughing stock) all the more apparent.
Over a Gore, or Hillary, or Kerry, and their policies...I would vote for Bush again tomorrow.
Having said that, I hope and pray we get someone like Hunter or Thompson to follow him...and the people who voted for Bush last time will solidly (IMHO) get behind such a candidate, precisely because they are apt to do all the things we hired Bush to do.

Hunter isn’t going anywhere. Thompson, on the other hand...

maybe he could hide under that hideous ridiculous chinchilla that sits on top of his head.

Exactly...and who knows, maybe a Thompson/Hunter ticket? Either way, my point about Trump stands in any case.

Well, the guy does have a right to his opinion and he has an impressive track record in marketing himself - which is probably why he likes the Clintons.
Bush isn’t good at marketing himself, is doing a job that is dead serious and has to keep an eye on long term strategy.
So, taking that into consideration...I don’t give a F about his opinion.

I saw a bit of his interview with Wolf Blitzer, and Trump was singing Romney’s praises (and trashing Fred Thompson). Is the Donald a “Jr.” or does he have a son? The donations to Giuliani were from Donald Trump, Jr.
To: RDTF
Everything considered, while some froth at the mouth, I concur.

The donations to Giuliani are from Donald Trump, Jr., who is an “E.V.P.” (presumably Executive Vice President), or from Eric Trump, presumably a family member. Of course they could be just funneling the money on behalf of Donald Trump himself.

Which is related to Steve Martin’s advice on how to become a millionaire:

You think he’d back someone like Hunter?
