So,I am sitting in my living room in a small town in Maryland. And now I have to know Spanish to figure out the Score of the Game.
I do not care. TV is Off. The is the United States. This is American Football. We speak English. I now do not watch NBC football !
It’s quite the opposite!
Those of us insisting on assimilation are serious, because that is the only hope immigrants have of improving their lot.
It is those crying “racism” who are making excuses for maintaining a slave labor pool.

I am sick and tired of having to push one for English, entering doors that say Entrada, logging into my computer to find they switched to spanish and I have to go back and reset my preferences to English.
If they want to attract Hispanic viewers ...go to Mexico! If people want to be here ...we speak ENGLISH.
My grandparents came from Italy, they kissed the ground when they got here ..came through Ellis Island and taught themselves to read and write English because they thought is was an honor to be here.
As for good business decision? Only if NFL now becomes a Mexican sport.

Nope; I don’t see NBC celebrating any of these, just supplanting our national language.

What’s interesting is that despite this, I didn’t recall Michaels or Madden pointing out that Tony Romo is a Hispanic-American.
True, but they managed to actually find their offense and put up 56 points in them. We may yet see the monstrosities again...

If I wanted to learn Spanish, I would have paid attention in high school.

We were watching our favorite team on ABC I think yesterday, with our children. They had commericals on for this new sitcom and in the commerical they said “Do you want to just have sex?” and the woman says “Sure, why not” and it’s meant to be very casual, off the cut, then the laugh track chimes in with big laughs, there was another commerical that was all about sex, I had to change the channel everytime they went to commerical. This folks are sickening, money loving and heading for hell.
They kept showing the score of a game between the
Dallas Vaquero’s and the Chicago Osso’s.....
And in any language Rex Grossman sucks......

I didn’t care about the pc aspect of last night’s game. All I cared about was the Dallas Cowboys beating the ever living he!! out of the Chicago Bears. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

The Spanish sales pitch does NOT assist in assimilation.
Really now. Getting people who move here interested in our sports does not assist in assimilation? How do you come up with this?
Getting them interested in our LANGUAGE is the fastest path to assimilation!
Bastardizing our culture, by continuing to crutch them in theirs, only slows that process.
That’s how I come up with this!
