The election is 14 months away, the polls mean nothing at this point and even if you want to place some credibility in them what about her sky high negatives.

Keep saying that. I tell you it is a broken record around here with that. All through 2005 and most of 2006 FREEPERS were saying ignore the polls. Even one month before the election they were saying the democratic sample is higher. UGH!!!!!!

I’ve been struck by what appears to be a coordinated attack on Blackwater with the terrorists, some elements in the Iraqi government, the press and the Dhimmicrats all jumping ugly on them at the same time.

I wonder if there are any intercepts of phone conversations or emails before this latest terrorist incident between the bad guys and the other bad guys setting this up?

The silliest thing to come out of the whole incident is CNN and some of the other dinosaur media saying that the Blackwater folks attacked “civilians” with no provocation, that there was no terrorist attack on the convoy they were guarding. They say this while at the same time they’re showing video of the burned out car from the convoy that was hit by the terrorists. The mind boggles!

He’s been out campaigning, he made an appearance at the NRA convention as did several others. I don’t think he’s “rested” yet.

Great take, she is so slick, rehearsed and so adept at playing both sides and then as you say putting all the blame on GW(what if the dems learned he is not running anymore)that by the time she is through plying her agenda into every question there is little time to give any straight answers!

The great thing about all this is there will come a time when Fred's answers, which are(for the most part) completely straight forward and right to the point, will be played against the parsed ramblings of her highness and any thinking person will be able to tell the difference between Hillary and the real thing which is Fred Thompson.

Problem is this is not 1960. People do not go down a list of issues any more and than decide who will make the better candidate for the benefit of the country.

Voters are sucked into a vast DBM morass of who made the biggest mistake/s the closest to the election(therefore effecting the polls) which often dictates who or who will not win.

We live n a sound bite mode of politics and we must adjust to fighting DBM lies instantly and soundly or suffer the consequences.

We are awaiting the ruling of the 3-judge panel of the CA Appellate Court as to whether she is brought back into the case as a defendant to join her husband. Here is the bigger news. We just got the narration finished for the documentary film and are working on the webiste. It will be finished in October and we are trying to debut it in New York at the end of October. I'm looking for help and sponsorship for a venue there. I am not allowed to give ordering information here but we are already taking pre-orders.

Ok, but it is 14 months and the libs are basing their entire hopes on Iraq. Tell me, what happens if the news continues to improve and the Iraqi government begins to make progress? Where will the libs turn to then?

Sorry, but I’ve never seen a presidential race one on negatives alone. Don’t compare a mid term election to a presidential one. Despite what you may believe the turnout was not high and the margin in the races was small. It is even possible that the whole thing turned on the outing of Foley in Fla as a predator of Congressional Pages, that’s how close it really was.

We may not want to believe it but my guess is 80% of Americans can’t be bothered with midterms.
